  1. They raised the weights due to a weight cutting issue. That is now gone. I think going to 118 is fine because of the strictures of how much weight is cut and all that. I don't think unlimited should be tried. You go go to 320 I suppose but those guys are football players anyway. I say just add 118. mspart
  2. My opinion is that this should have been a rout for the Rs easily. But for Trump hanging over everything, I think it would have been. Rs did not do well because of Trump. That's my opinion. D's, I's, and some R's don't like Trump and would not vote for those he endorsed. mspart
  3. Got it. Thanks, mspart
  4. Yeah, I can see where you're coming from, especially after your list. Frank Marino is not everyone's cup of tea. But being a 40 year aspiring guitar player and still not very good, he is absolutely amazing. He is blazing fast, but melodic at the same time. mspart
  5. No he isn't a real pro boxer. But he makes money at it so that could be a justification for the term. He is at best an amateur boxer and probably would not do well in that circuit. mspart
  6. Ain't that the truth. mspart
  7. That's a good one RYou. mspart
  8. 5 years is not too long to graduate. If I'm not footing the bill that is. mspart
  9. I graduated in 5 years, but did an engineering major that required more than the traditional amount of credits plus I double majored in Spanish. So I was dawdling and didn't do sports. But my foray into Spanish set me back a bit. I also did a Masters Degree in Engineering that was more because i was not done playing flag football, Ultimate Frisbee, softball, or wrestling - all intramural. I had a great time with the Master's degree but actually stayed because I was not done playing. Got a good job at the end and found my wife also so it was a good decision. mspart
  10. He makes money at boxing so I guess he could call himself a professional boxer. Everyone knows he is not really a pro boxer. It is all about the appearances and not about reality. Does he need to fight anymore with the money he's made. Probably not. He has marketed himself really well and has lived the dream. I hope he invests as well as he promotes. mspart
  11. You got booted for mentioning that? That's ridiculous. Did they ever ban anyone else for mentioning some other wrestling forum? That's just beyond the pale. mspart - I've been asked before. So here it is for all to see. When I first got onto the internet and email and stuff, I was in Minneapolis/St Paul area, living in Apple Valley. My first name is Arthur but I go by Art. The airport code for Minneapolis/St Paul is MSP. And there you go. mspart
  12. OK, what is tipping with regards to pitching? mspart
  13. Here is another that shows his virtuosity. A guitarist's guitarist. Not many better, faster, more technical, or more melodic. mspart
  14. To watch Frank Marino is an awesome experience. He no longer plays, apparently has some issues with one of his arms that is locked up and very painful. mspart
  15. Yes, that's true. Those that fight him and lose win anyway. mspart
  16. No hitter - one pitcher. No exceptions. Do I look like I'm kidding!!!! mspart
  17. Knees are delicate mechanisms. He will have to really protect those babies. Regarding Streibler, he won a Senior WC in 2016 for non Olympic weights. So he has some credentials other than NCAAs. I don't know Lee at all but wish him the best of luck with his health. If that works, he should be a 4 timer. mspart
  18. See!!! We are bringing people together. I love this board. mspart
  19. I'm not ascared of Guido. I think the coach sees the behavior, even if National champ, and sits down and has an honest discussion about the way things are going to work. He has the option of towing the line or moving on. Period. mspart
  20. So wrestling has a chance!!! I remember when we lived in Hawaii and America's got talent had two from the islands competing. The amount of votes that went to carry them through was amazing. And multiple votes too. The whole state was calling in. Now just imagine if we could do that for Jordan. mspart
  21. Since when are we ever wrong? mspart
  22. If that is the rumor, Smith should be doing what he can to get the program firing on all cylinders. But he hasn't done that in a couple of years so maybe he is burnt out. Makes a great commetator, I really enjoyed watching the Olys with he and Jordan on the mic.
  23. Absolutely. I think he is the secret sauce at PSU. He may want to come out of Cael's shadow or may really like it there because of all the success. I would think he would be for the challenge. mspart
  24. MMA might be his path after jail or prison (of course only if found guilty). mspart Amending my statement. I have no idea if he is innocent or guilty. MMA would probably be his path unless he is innocent and some college takes a chance on him. If not, MMA. If he is guilty, MMA when he gets out if he has youth enough.
  25. I'm a Bama fan thru and thru. And I'm thinking chinks in their armor have been exposed. TN showed they have a great offense for sure. They also showed not much defense. Unfortunately, Bama did the same. No team scoring 49 points should lose but Bama did. Not very enthused about their chances vs LSU. LSU can be a spoiler every bit as much as Auburn. I hope Bama wins so they can move up into National Championship contention. I take TN over GA. Those guys are on a serious roll. Heckuva weekend for sure. mspart
