  1. At the end Munoz says John Smith would wrestle Eric Guerrero and looked bored while doing so after Eric had won a National championship. So apparently he rolled around with the guys. They are probably too much for him anymore. mspart
  2. Yeah, I was just following up on if piece parts are available. Fortunately the voices in my head are only about smoking meats and not anything else. mspart
  3. Well Senator Dole, that's a tough one. mspart
  4. Absolutely. But what if the what ifs didn't get put into a what if thread. mspart
  5. I just found a website that sells the parts for my smoker. Perhaps they sell parts for yours too. The water tray and wood box are available for my smoker. https://www.appliancefactoryparts.com/ mspart
  6. Thanks for the link! mspart
  7. How old are you? Did you like Ike when liking Ike was a thing? It was apparently a too subtle request for you to age yourself. I can say, I wasn't around when Ike was President or running for President. I'm not saying anymore than that!! mspart
  8. The question is Did you like Ike? mspart
  9. I had mojo? I never knew!! mspart
  10. And not just with the military. That is why the Constitution was written the way it was. The Founders knew what people would do given the opportunity. mspart
  11. Perhaps, but it makes my point that all of those folks could probably make it to the Olympics if they were to wrestle for Mexico. staying with the US is most likely not their best option, including Zahid. He couldn't make 86, and wouldn't have mde 92 with Cox there. He will not be able to go to 97 and beat Snyder so he is kind of out of options. Unless he improves greatly. mspart
  12. Let's all remember that Joe is a stutterer. Obviously we heard wrong. mspart
  13. Of these, none have a chance at the Olympic team as it stands now. All would be well advised to go and get on another team if possible for them. Even Zahid at 92, if he had faced Cox, would be #2. Except Cox was injured and went to 97, but even for this year, anyone not named Cox didn't have a shot at 92 if Cox was there. This lineup next year for Mexico would be a major coup for the Mexican team and would immediately raise Mexico's wrestling profile. mspart
  14. I haven't worn mine out yet but the chip box and the water tray are showing signs of wear. I might need to get new ones soon. Hopefully they can be purchased separately. mspart
  15. Semantics I suppose. mspart
  16. What we did was smoke it for about 2-3 hours. Until all the smoke stopped being generated. Then we took it out and cooked it the rest of the way in the oven. It came out great!! I have been really surprised by this little smoker of mine. Not one thing has been ruined using it. It is making me look like a genius in cooking. I assure all of you, I am not. mspart
  17. I smoked a turkey in my little smoker last year. I used Apple wood chips. After tasting the first bite my wife declared that we will never cook a turkey anyother way from now on. So I'm looking forward to smoked turkey this November. mspart
  18. Fortunately, the attacker will not be doing that ever again. mspart
  19. This reminds me of a story I heard. A man was on the west coast walking on the beach and was talking with God. God told him he could have a wish. He really loved Hawaii and thought it would be really nice to build a bridge to Hawaii. So that is what he wished for. God said that was an impossible wish and to ask for something else. The man thought about it for a moment and said he would like to know how women think. In response, God asks, How many lanes do you want? mspart
  20. Who didn't see this coming? Islam is one of the most vehement critics of all that pride represents. Liberals just didn't get it when they were applauding Muslims and not saying a word about how muslim countries treat LGBTQ folks. https://www.cnn.com/2023/06/15/us/hamtramck-michigan-ban-pride-flags-public-property/index.html A city in Michigan votes to permanently ban Pride flags from display on public property during Pride Month As communities across the United States celebrate June as Pride Month, a city near Detroit, Michigan, has voted to permanently ban the display of Pride flags on public property. Hamtramck’s city council members voted unanimously Tuesday to approve the controversial resolution, which restricts the city from flying any “religious, ethnic, racial, political, or sexual orientation group flags” on public grounds, according to meeting minutes. Residents and businesses will not be restricted from flying Pride or other flags on private property. Back in 2015, D's rejoiced that muslims were being voted in in Hamtamck's city council. Now it is all muslim and there is some angst. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2023/jun/17/hamtramck-michigan-muslim-council-lgbtq-pride-flags-bannIed A sense of betrayal’: liberal dismay as Muslim-led US city bans Pride flags In 2015, many liberal residents in Hamtramck, Michigan, celebrated as their city attracted international attention for becoming the first in the United States to elect a Muslim-majority city council. They viewed the power shift and diversity as a symbolic but meaningful rebuke of the Islamophobic rhetoric that was a central theme of then Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s campaign. This week many of those same residents watched in dismay as a now fully Muslim and socially conservative city council passed legislation banning Pride flags from being flown on city property that had – like many others being flown around the country – been intended to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. Muslim residents packing city hall erupted in cheers after the council’s unanimous vote, and on Hamtramck’s social media pages, the taunting has been relentless: “Fagless City”, read one post, emphasized with emojis of a bicep flexing. In a tense monologue before the vote, Councilmember Mohammed Hassan shouted his justification at LGBTQ+ supporters: “I’m working for the people, what the majority of the people like.” While Hamtramck is still viewed as a bastion of multiculturalism, the difficulties of local governance and living among neighbors with different cultural values quickly set in following the 2015 election. Some leaders and residents are now bitter political enemies engaged in a series of often vicious battles over the city’s direction, and the Pride flag controversy represents a crescendo in tension. “There’s a sense of betrayal,” said the former Hamtramck mayor Karen Majewski, who is Polish American. “We supported you when you were threatened, and now our rights are threatened, and you’re the one doing the threatening.” Again, what did they expect? Muslims were not threatened except in these liberals minds. But they now feel threatened. It is laughable that they were so blind in their righteousness that they did not see this as an obvious outcome. mspart
  21. From the comments section on the yahoo article, they felt like an apology back when this happened may have done some good for their bottom line. But the feelings were that obviously the company doesn't want to apologize and these commenters no longer consider themselves customers. From what I gather, they could care less now if the company apologizes or not, they are no longer consumers of AB beers. Interestingly, there were no Pro AB commenters in the 3 pages I read. In other words, CEO saying he listens to customers does not apply to these folks as they no longer consider themselves customers. Just summarizing what I read. mspart
  22. https://www.foxbusiness.com/economy/bud-light-maker-ceo-tells-customers-we-hear-you-doesnt-apologize-sales-tank Bud Light maker CEO tells customers, 'We hear you,' but doesn't apologize as sales tank Anheuser-Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth has released a message telling consumers "we hear you," as sales of the beer giant’s Bud Light brand continue to slide following a partnership with transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney. In a post titled "Anheuser-Busch Announces Support For Frontline Employees And Wholesaler Partners," Whitworth said, "We recognize that over the last two months, the discussion surrounding our company and Bud Light has moved away from beer, and this has impacted our consumers, our business partners, and our employees." "We are a beer company, and beer is for everyone," he continued. Since late March, Bud Light parent Anheuser-Busch has seen its market value plummet by over $35 billon to $99 billion, down from $134.5 billon. Whitworth announced "three important actions" to move the company forward, including "investing to protect the jobs of our frontline employees" and "providing financial assistance to our independent wholesalers to help them support their employees." "Third, to all our valued consumers, we hear you. Our summer advertising launches next week, and you can look forward to Bud Light reinforcing what you’ve always loved about our brand — that it’s easy to drink and easy to enjoy," Whitworth also said. A similar article was on Yahoo finance website and the comments were pretty scathing. He hears his valued customers and new advertising will fix all this. I guess we'll see. Many of the commenters were saying "customers, no we are not longer your customers". Like I said, I guess we'll see. mspart
  23. Sounds really good and like a heart attack in the making!! mspart
