the buckeyes next year ( 2025 ) should be in great shape, the following year 2026 I'm getting tickets to that match . It should be a barn burner. I would i have no problem red shirting Mendez next year that way he would available for 2026 and 2027. I will definitely be at the dual in 2027 at Ohio State.

That was some tough going there. It is really important to have some sort of back up heat for ice storms or just general power outages. In the area where I live now some idiot shot out 3 of our substations in a 1 hour period. taking out power to about 20,000 homes for5 days. I would agree having an independent ref is extremely important. The same ref that made the call will try to save face on a bad call and not change when he reviews the video. It will be absolutely essential to have this at the conference and NCAA Tournaments. I'm confused on this reaction time . It should you gain control at the exact moment you are turning your opponent it should be immediate takedown and ref should be counting backs immediately . There should not be a delay. I would say the ref was really not in a good position to make the correct call he was standing up and could not clearly see the back of Davis but on the video review he should have got it right.

He beats the number 2 ranked 125 pounder fair and square only to have an inept referee take the win from him. I don't know what happened at PWC it really has nothing to do with this match. I have yet to hear anyone not call that a takedown. I would be willing to say that Cael,Cody and Casey would concede it was a takedown and would have been extremely upset had the roles been reversed.

He reminds me of RBY last year. It caught up with him at the NCAA tournament.

Just for the sake of being fair. Have you ever coached wrestling at any level. Say ,youth,high school or at the collegiate level? What level of wrestling did you personally compete at?

Is there any recourse to have a NCAA purview of the referee's in the Penn State match. Specifically the 125 match. I would say 95 percent of college referees get that call right without any video review. I would say with the video review it would be 99.5 percent of the referee's would get that call right. It was without a doubt takedown 3 points and 2 points for backs and it isn't even close.

What have you got. I lost to Keith Stearns NCAA champ 4 to 2 in overtime at National finals . what you got. Placed 2nd at CKLV in Vegas to Pan Am silver medalist. What have you got. Nephew was a 2 time all American for Penn State and a finalist.

Good call. This team is going to be really good the next 3 years. They have been really tested. I think they can get a team Trophy at NCAA's this year.
