    Feldman got a takedown and 4 backs in the first period. In the second Shultz escapes and Feldman tries a takedown ,Shultz counters and gets a takedown. 3rd period Feldman escapes and then gets a takedown and rides him out.

    Thats about right. I wonder if the powers that be {{ NCAA head officials ) ever review this matches after the fact and go like what the hell was that. Seven head fakes, no actual shots, backing up the entire match, right when they are about to go out of bounds, they do a quick spin inbounds and zero stall calls. Pretty pathetic.

    I sure hope so. I think they need to do away with Olympic years and injury year. You enroll you get a red shirt and 4 years of competition and your done. Period.

    Looks like Ohio State is slightly outperforming all the computer and human predictions. By about double . Nice job by the coaching staff and the wrestlers.

    If Davis would have managed to place 4 th they would have had a really good chance to get the record. If they win 5 of the 6 final matches and get 2 or 3 points from 149 or 184 it might be enough to get the record. If they have any bonus points that would be a big help. I had them scoring around 160. they will do that with 3 wins tomorrow.

    Star was healthy when they wrestled the last time, and it was a 2 point match in Rec-Hall

    I replayed the match .You can see the ref counting swipes and the announcer talking about it

    I saw the ref counting . Did he forget to give the 4 points. He gave the 1 point for riding time. I think the Ohio State coaching staff may not be aware of ref not giving the 4 points. I think the coaching staff should look into it. It would give Mendez a major an award Ohio State 1 team point. Which believe or not could make a difference in team placement.

    He came in as a true freshman and the Big Ten Champ. He will have a chance to place 3rd. He had a very good year. Will he be disappointed? Yes. Will he be just fine? Yes. He has a great supporting team.

    Maybe they should adjust the seeding process. I thought personally they were under weighting the Big 10 heavyweights and they did. It's unfortunate that there is little or no consideration for strength of schedule or early season injuries. Seeding is never perfect but adding a couple of considerations might have a better outcome.

    They show Mendez final 6to 2 with no back points. Should be 4 for backs final score 10 to 2.. One extra team point. he had him on his back for almost a minute.

    Great job by Bouzakis. Really smart wrestling. Gave the 8 th year senior all he could handle.

    He looks to be in the 80 to 85 % range, which should be good enough for him to win it. He will need to use his shots and scrambles wisely.
