Baloney. I've been over this on here already 5, 009 times in this forum's short tenure, so I'm not going over it again.
But, no, baloney, there IS still straight, unbiased journalism. I get a daily feed of it two- three times each day.
And, it's often forgotten that Gymmy J was one person "of interest" in the entire investigation, so having him serve as an investigator of hisself may have been a bit of a "conflict of interest, " as those in the legal fields say.
As David Allen Coe oft said, "Think about it..."
...what's happened to us when we're now invoking pro rasslin, and ESPECIALLY, Ric Flair as "legitimate discussions."
No starters are there, just backups.
However, a UNI Panther backup will provide PLENTY of problems for any starter.
I do want to see how Christian Minto does though. If he pans out, he could be the next big thing at UNI.
Twenty years or so ago-maybe it's still the case today- the national DIII tournament had a heavyweight- maybe even other weights that year- that went 1-2 and placed as an AA.
Looks like we may have a dispute.
When the Villagers were all over me the other day about collar-ties, or whatever it was, in the "1st Place thread," someone commented how he had hoped that this new site would be an improvement but believed that it was actually worse.
I remember expressing some cynicism regarding Hodge several years ago. As one could imagine, I spent a LONG time fighting off the Villagers with the, "how dare you question rasslin royalty" idiocy.
Questions about Gable will get a similar reaction.
Tread lightly, friends.
Maybe things have changed on these boards over the years, but I'm surprised that we got an hour into your post without someone saying, "well, he DIDN'T go undefeated because he lost to Paul Jenn (was that his name?) at the UNI Open during his freshman redshirt year."
Can't tell you how many back and forths came out of that one back in the day, but maybe that's changed.
