  1. You're not telling me anything new here. In fact, my nephew used it pretty effectively when he was rasslin at SDSU. I had just never heard of anyone mentioning an underhook as some sort of signature move., which is the impression that his writing left me with. Got it now? Good...
  2. Where did I say the exact words that you are quoting me on, sir?
  3. Did the underhook ALONE win for him? That was all that I was asking. Not having seen Hidlay rassle much and someone talking about his awesome underhook, I was just trying to figure out how that was a go-to move to score. Set up? Sure, I get that.
  4. Maybe, but maybe, JUST MAYBE, I liked to rassle from the outside and didn't like ties. Never heard of that, eh?
  5. "It's not illegal, right?"- The 30 percenters from 2015- present. Those are the new standards. I'm ok with it.
  6. I'd add that Project Veritas also has engaged in illegal activity to try to achieve their ends.
  7. Ironbird is likely the least of their issues. Both forums are two peas in a pod. I say we all pitch in and buy them an island, a DVD player, DVD's of every PSU and Sqwawker bout where their rasslers have lost, and watch them kill each other off with stupidity through a Rokfin pay per view feed for the rest of us to watch. Now THAT would be sumpin!
  8. Maybe, but (1) it hasn't happened yet and likely won't and (2) alterations and amendments will be made to it before passage. That's what 40+ years of following politics has taught me. Wait for the final product and then either gripe or rejoice.
  9. Don't want to (1) offer them an alternate view and (2) continue to defend that alternate view. The villagers will get their revenge!
  10. If wrestling on the edge is so problematic then maybe people should start lobbying to see it removed. I've heard SO MUCH griping about it over the years, and maybe I'm wrong, but there is strategy for some to rassle on the edge. Some use it to counter from, for instance. Yes, it may not appease the audience to watch it, but they don't have to satisfy the audience, they have to win. As long as it's within the bounds of the rules, a W at the end of seven tough minutes is all that matters.
  11. It's not just him though; this is the M.O. of conservatism today. Make everyone afraid of these mythical leftists at the expense of not fearing things that will actually affect their lives. As I say, they routinely go against their supposed "beliefs" and interests because that's far less scary than are leftists and Democrats. It's why people vote blindly.
  12. Nah, I prefer the border or no cash bail smokescreen. Keep 'em angry and stupid over something that doesn't affect them.
  13. As do most, minus the supposed scoring that he does off of it. Granted I never used an underhook in my life, but I believe that it is primarily used to move your opponent and control position.
  14. Glad to hear that finally! During the four years that Deuce pushed the boundaries of legality during his four years, I lost count at the number of times that people supporting him would then say, "well, it's not illegal, is it"? The bar of decency and morality lowered to the ground for the "law and order" crowd.
  15. I am missing something though, having only seen Hidlay rassle once (last season). What's so noted about his underhook, or anyone's for that matter? It's not like you often hear someone say, "Yeah, his opponent has a great low single, but, man, his undertook is WICKED!"
  16. Or, as I say, EVERY play has a holding call somewhere, especially today. Those boys are WAY too big today to be able to move around without grabbing hold of something.
  17. Dovetailing off of JB's point, I was reading the Panther Nation forums a while back and who I assume to be an "elder poster" by the context of his posts asked why he kept seeing ads on the forum for (I can't recall now, but something with a ton of "inappropriate content") and why PN takes money from these advertisers. The responses to him could be labeled as, "awkward. "
  18. My point is that Rand I Oppose The Civil Rights Act Paul doesn't really stand for anything. As for these bookends or whatever they are, I haven't looked, simply because nothing's been passed yet. At this point, it's just designed to elicit anger and misinormation fodder for the 30 percenters. Once it's passed, I may have a view on it.
  19. That's good news for us Panther fans, as Keckeisen owns Coleman, and Coleman isn't very good.
  20. Wikipedia too, eh? You understand that anyone can contribute to its content, correct?
  21. I can't believe that Rand I Oppose The Civil Rights Act Paul would even think of speaking out against big gubment spending when he voted against the infrastructure bill, only to ask on ten different occasions for infrastructure funds. https://www.cnn.com/2022/10/07/politics/infrastructure-spending-republican-critics/index.html
  22. Big stick for Hedley Lamahhrr. Has to be all the more disappointing too, as Keckeisen isn't a pinner. That may the first one I've seen.
  23. This is looking like yet another rabbit hole I've seen the 30 percenters go down for 20+ years. This is just elections are rigged and Pizzagate all over again. Wowza! Makes one wonder when the boy that cried wolf moment hits.
  24. I agree. Bastida, although smaller, will fare better than ISU's heavyweight.
  25. I'm afraid to ask because I'm sure someone has said, but there's no cross duals between the red and blue pools, right?
