  1. Jason Tsirtsis and Andrew Howe were coaching against each other at freestyle state this past summer I was pointing them out to some of my kids, who asked "who are those people"
  2. I’m on my seventh cars in six years, so not many miles haha
  3. Alonzo Shepherd is a volunteer coach (started late last season, coached with them at NCAAs) Maybe this gets that Brownsburg to Bellarmine pipeline going full blast
  4. Brayton Lee to Bellarmine as an assistant coach https://www.instagram.com/reel/DMtcq90PXx8/ That makes two former IU wrestlers (sorta) on the Bellarmine coaching staff
  5. ESPN is reporting it as well, with WWE as their source https://www.espn.com/wwe/story/_/id/45813406/pro-wrestling-legend-hulk-hogan-dies-age-71
  6. South Parking is jumping back into the fray https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Afetnw70S04&rco=1
  7. The WNBA ownership is a tad different from other leagues NBA - 42% Team Owners - 42% Investment group - 16% Now I have zero idea of how that is figured into everything, but I didn't realize there was another investment group involved

  9. https://www.congress.gov/bill/119th-congress/senate-bill/2230 - Facilitating Useful Loss Limitations to Help Our Unique Service Economy (FULL HOUSE) Act would have reinstated the previous rules for deducting wagering losses for tax purposes, however it didn't make it out https://rollcall.com/2025/07/10/gambling-tax-repeal-bill-blocked-in-senate/ There is another attempt with the Fair Accounting for Income Realized from Betting Earnings Taxation (FAIR BET) Act - https://titus.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=5805
  10. My last five, I’d like to go to more but I never realize until after the fact RUFUS DU SOL in Indianapolis (next month) ODESZA / Bob Moses in Indianapolis Bad Bunny in Louisville Kid Cudi in Denver (bought last minute tickets, ended up as close as you could be) Pit Bull and Enrique Iglesias in Miami Bryson Tiller / Kendrick Lamar / Travis Scott in Louisville Extra: Waka Flocka in an airplane hanger in Louisville, highlight of college
  11. He was there actively training when I was down there two weeks ago
  12. While I would assume the same thing, he later said "New York City will run properly. We’re gonna bring New York back. I love New York,” he said. “We’re going to do something for New York. I can’t tell you what yet, but we’re going to make New York great again" so open to interpretation. Kinda crazy for the federal government to step in because they don't like the outcome of an election Now I think Mamdani is an idiot, but it's not Trump's place to step in
  13. https://abcnews.go.com/amp/Politics/trump-suggests-taking-new-york-city-washington/story?id=123581492 “We're not going to have -- if a communist gets elected to run New York, it can never be the same. But we have tremendous power at the White House to run places when we have to," Trump said. Trump didn't elaborate on what authority that would be as he then turned his focus to the nation's capital.”
  14. Yea, I wasn’t a big fan of the baby… the detective’s story line was dumb too
  15. I have no idea what he did, but can confirm he was kicked off
  16. https://www.nytimes.com/live/2025/06/05/us/trump-elon-musk What a roller coaster
  17. I'm a fan of Andy Beshear from Kentucky - he's not perfect but a solid middle of the road candidate that is palatable to non-MAGA Republicans like myself
  18. I don't feel like arguing with you guys, no one on here is going to change their mind... I do like following the threads however... But I agree with WrestlingRasta in their response to Bigbrog
  19. We are looking for a wrestling head coach to lead Parkview, as the long time head coach has stepped down after 20+ years. The program is a feeder to a well established high school program ran by USAW Gold Coach and Indiana Hall of Fame Member Danny Struck. Jeffersonville is growing fast and has a school corporation that is dedicated to capital improvements. If you are interested, please contact Danny at dstruck@gccschools.com
  20. Not that it matters, but on Sunday the ACs were on and it was actually cold before the wrestling started (greco for Central Regionals) - it stayed somewhat cool the entire time
  21. The venue doesn’t have great air circulation, four big fans (one in each corner) and nothing in the middle. Midway today they pulled curtains over the giant windows which seemed to help a tad I personally didn’t think it was too bad (I was on the floor coaching all day for Central Regionals) but heard a lot of complaints from folks about the heat in the venue
  22. If you are in Louisville looking for a beer, there is a wrestler owned brewery with a roof top patio Awry Brewing, ask for Tom if you go
  23. If anyone is coming to Louisville, feel free to PM me for any restaurant/attraction recommendations
