I wish I could have been there
The last few years have been rough as a State fan (granted, the majority of my lifetime has been rough outside of those Mullen years)
Clanga
With the Chase Sapphire Reserve card bumping its yearly fee and changing the point reward multipliers, is it still the card to use?
My yearly renewal fee is coming up soon and debating keeping it or not
I've done some research (apparently not enough for Bigbrog) and it's all more or less the same headline quotes and media hot takes - before supporting the deployment of the National Guard to a city, I'd like to know the details...
If it's just sending the guard to high crime area to show a presence and free up police to do investigative work, so be it, but I'd like to know.
I'm curious if anyone has seen more details on what the plan is
What's the plan for the National Guard?
I keep seeing that they are there to support the local police and authorities, but what does support actually entail? Is it just having a physical presence in an area?
The White House Historical Association says only three presidents' children have attended public schools (source, additional source). Those three belong to Jimmy Carter, Theodore Roosevelt, and Taft.
For Obama, he said it was due to security, privacy, and the private system was deemed as the best fit (they attended a private school in Chicago before Obama became president). He did acknowledge the DC school system was struggling.
I mean I'm fine with the president and whoever is living with him in the White House having all their living expenses paid for... Not a normal job and it's one less thing I would like them to worry about

I was pointing them out to some of my kids, who asked "who are those people"
Alonzo Shepherd is a volunteer coach (started late last season, coached with them at NCAAs)
Maybe this gets that Brownsburg to Bellarmine pipeline going full blast
Brayton Lee to Bellarmine as an assistant coach
