    Really want to bring up the past? I remember when Iowa won trophies and titles with their own wrestlers. Now they buy 2/3 of their points and still can't trophy. How's that working out? I understand that times have changed, but christ, if they even did a half-assed job of developing their own talent this year then they half trophied.

    It wasn't, but stealing studs from other teams is not the answer. That does nothing but hurt the sport.

    I'm very sorry that Iowa buys 2/3 of their NCAA points yet still can't buy a trophy.

    With their own wrestlers. Take away Iowa's store-bought transfers and they take 18th.

    As if Iowa cares about that. You don't get the 5th best team money can buy by worrying about stuff like that.

    I think you think wrong. Just because it's the same sport doesn't mean that everyone who likes men's wrestling wants to watch women's too. Don't mess with a good thing, keep the women separate.

    Rumor is BD paid hush money to Jimmy C for.........improprieties. Not saying it's true, but it would help explain why JC is still allowed on the forum. Just what I heard.

    Not sure if you could call that a transfer. Pretty sure he was kicked out of Mizzou and then enrolled at Clemson.

    I agree. I'm not gonna look it up, but when was the last time ISU finished ahead of Iowa, 20, 25 years ago or more? Not saying this can't be the start of something, but don't jump the gun sparky.

    Not defending the guy because I can't stand him, but he's just another young dumb guy putting stuff on his socially media. Only thing is EVERYBODY sees his and critiques him for it.

    Great to hear that KCMO was so well received. It gets a bad rap at times for it's murder and crime rates, but that's due to some specific parts of the metro. Stay away from those and it's a great city. I think the NCAA took 21 years to bring natties back to KC because Kemper Arena and the surrounding wasteland in 2003 just sucked. Hopefully they realize that the Power and Light district is tailor made for events like this and come back soon.

    That was Carr's secret weapon. He had that extra one in reserve too in case it went OT, but he didn't need it.

    I think they should go to the old rule where you had to sit for 1 year after transferring. Might be a bit of a deterrent to athletes throwing their name on the market for the highest bidder, and put a little bit of a damper on this NIL/transfer portal craziness
