  1. The j6 committee never had credibility
  2. While watching some of the lower medal rounds, I couldn't help but feel that the technical skill and explosiveness of some of the athletes fell short of what I expected. I took this as a great opportunity for upcoming women to showcase their abilities and potentially find success if they are dedicated and committed to improving their skills.
  3. Twitter becoming profitable. https://www.ft.com/content/ccb40e03-099f-4bfe-ad34-2e6c3ec88c81
  4. The J6 coverage was sensationalized from the start. Now the page is turned and its sensationalized from a different perspective. Scandalous Entertainment with Disastrous Consequences.
  5. Unfortunately, textbook slam. Refereed correctly.
  6. 125 Lee 133 Fix (minor upset) 141 bracket depending (I like Alirez) 149 Diakomihalis 157 bracket depending (I like Robb) 165 bracket depending (I like KOT with minor upset) 174 Starocci 184 Brooks 197 bracket depending (I like Elam) 285 Kerkvliet (minor upset)
  7. "I thought I had a stall call to give." Went on to talk about how loud it was, he could not hear and had to look a the ref.
  8. Twitter is the best source for diverse news and opinions in near-real-time. It still has a troll infection but it also seems slightly less polar and mob mentality than before. (my opinion) I cannot imagine going back to a blind trust in legacy media.
  9. Opening day for trout season is March 1st. Bennet Springs, MO.
  10. It was intentional... guy was chippy... looked where he was putting his hand depending on which frame you capture.
  11. Novice daughter wrestled at state: Strong start, dumb choice, heartbreak. Misguided coaching says down down. Me yelling neutral from stands. Can't be heard shouldn't yell. Crushing champ, lose by fall. The ole' optional start throw.
  12. Know when to pick UP
  13. Dom seemed more defensive minded in the match against Malgren. On that first takedown defense, she got her hips back and squared up well. It looked like she cross faced across the forehead and top of the head. It looked like if she snaked her thumb down her inside hip she might have reached into Malgren's nose and convinced her to go a different direction. On that first throw she defended, it should have been 2 pts for Dom. In a later take down defense, Malgren got in deep and had a head outside shot. It was another opportunity to separate Malgren's head from her shoulders to get her hips back. Have these two wrestled before? I'm wondering if Dom was consciously more defensive or if her setups were not working. She's been more committed and aggressive on shot attempts in the past. Malgren's pretty good though...
  14. The defender should be awarded two points when they slip the offender's throw attempt and end up in control. The 'free pass' rule allowed today is silly. Referring to Dom's match.
  15. Select 'Home' from the breadcrumb... to change the view from this to this
  16. Some coaches want the wrestlers to... sit with their team the whole time watch videos after the tournament is over, not in between matches not allow parent instruction/coaching between matches Does the relative knowledge of the coaches and parents matter...
  17. Grilling your own pizza is the way. Follow instructions like this... use self rising dough to shorten the prep time... https://findingtimeforcooking.com/main-dishes/best-grilled-pizza-dough-recipe/
  18. Papa Murphy's Cowboy pizza is the best for self bakers, mom/pop Chicago style is the best when going out, and that thin-crusted New York style belongs in the trash bin with all forms of margherita pizza. We started making our own mini pizzas on the bbq from scratch with fresh ingredients.... its the actual best.
  19. He took too much joy in the destruction of the Pfizer exec. That bothered me. That guy’s life was destroyed and James was glee. Still. James is Veritas. Bad decision by the board. James should not fight it, rather start the next company and move forward.
  20. Sure sounds like a ChatGPT disclaimer Have some fun Bernie.
  21. https://www.sciencehistory.org/distillations/mouse-heaven-or-mouse-hell A bunch of mice live in a utopia and it goes to hell. What stage of John's experiment are we in?
  22. The article is disgusting. When I read it, I was like WTF is Mike posting that? It is hard to recage the lizard brain and recognize your intent was to criticize Elon.
  23. Right? It's a hit job by four authors with evidence that Eliza is disingenuous. It lacks context and analysis of the issues surrounding sex trafficking and the challenges of reporting on and verifying claims. It is charged and critical and not an ounce of empathy for parts are likely true such as the escort experience. TBH this isn't a surprise if she is exaggerating. She gain attention by saying the right things for a good cause (stop trafficking) but her reaction to the youtube video images posted to Twitter was sketch. She lost some credibility her reaction but I still like what she is advocating against. It's an article worth writing but with horrible execution. I had to look up whether the authors were monsters... It IS correct that Musk was gullible on believing Eliza so easily. Its the good kind of gullible and Elon is no more dipshit than the rest of us.
  24. Too much weight and bad knees and cardio concern. Fix every time at 133.
  25. That is very wrong that the exception case is not honoured. Stupid. Sad.
