The amendment would have directed the Attorney General to publicly release documents related to Jeffrey Epstein. Why did Republican senators “vote to block the release of the Epstein files?" Majority Leader John Thune called Schumer’s surprise maneuver a “political stunt” and a “hostile act.” GOP sources described it as injecting politics into bipartisan NDAA negotiations that were underway. Sen. Mike Rounds said, “This is not the right way to do it.” Sen. Was there a standalone Epstein Files Transparency Act? Yes. It was bipartisian. It passed 427-1 in the house, unanimous consent in the senate, and signed into law by Trump. Did the Epstein Files Transparency Act become law before the NDAA? Yes. EFTA on November 19th came before the NDAA on December 18th. Is this propoganda? Yes. The ads framing “anyone on the right does not align with holding pedophiles accountable” misleads by selective framing and omission.

Is it spin: Yes. It implies Democrats uniquely deliver this. Is it bad: Yes. It justifies almost any government expansion. It presents Democrats as the party of ordinary people and Republicans as the party of the rich. Totally ignores that working-class voters moved right... and that the left has "rich" "educated" people. Is it bad: Yes. Tribal framing. I will stop here... it just continues to repeat the same format of saying something that everyone can agree on before spinning and polarizing. GOP does the same thing. Very dumb. What matters to me is not what Democrats say, rather its what they do... which is bring us riots and wokeness and crime...

All I see is a flood of attack ads from candidates with questionable morals, hoping to get elected by telling me how terrible the other side is. And they personally approve every one of those ads.

In college, an acquaintance set me up to meet a girl by having his girlfriend bring her along. A buddy mentioned that she had previously given oral sex to several guys one after another. I stayed sober, did not drink or offer her anything, watched part of a movie with her, kept things non-physical, and dropped her off at her place. She was also sober. A couple of days later I heard she was saying I had given her a date-rape drug and taken advantage of her. I denied it and was vouched for. Another acquaintance later said she had made a similar claim about him. What does this say about some women?

Biologists (science) agree that a new human organism is a member of the species Homo sapiens that begins at fertilization. Some state laws (and federal law) treat a fetus as a person. Whether a fetus counts as a “person” with the same rights as a born person depends on the context... legal rules, moral views, culture, and ...context. It is inaccurate to make a blanket statement that a fetus is not a person. Why else would abortion be taboo?

We have 1 million different women involved with terminating humans each year, preventing what could have been. Hopefully we both can be thankful that science is finding ways to artificially nurture the fetus much earlier in its development.

Did you read her words before your first post on this topic? My wife and daughter hadn't. And then they didn't believe it initially because its not what the news reported. All I said, was did you see what the girl had to say? They both jumped to victim blaming, and then they read the girls texts and shut up, thouroughly confused. Which led into the conversation where I reminded them that many boys and men are and will behave this way, especially from 8th grade through the college years.
