  1. I second all the sentiments above. @ILLINIWrestlingBlog was a personal favorite of mine. I will miss his humor and unwavering support for and love of his Illini.
  2. Big 12 only seeds 8 of 13, so probably just means whoever is entered is unseeded.
  3. He would need to meet two of the at-large criteria. He could take two loses at EIWA and fall to 5-2 (71.4%) and still make the win percentage criteria. His win over Braeden Davis gives him the second criteria. But, then he will probably not be in the top 4 of the at-large pool due to his lack of RPI, quality wins (just Davis for sure, maybe Rini), win%, and maybe conference placement. Touch and go.
  4. You have to go alllllllll the way back to last year to find this once in a year event. Or the year before that. Or the year before that.
  5. If he loses to Starocci in the final and Keckheisen wins B12, I think #3, but maybe #4 behind Foca. Among the seeding criteria his only head to head is with Berge (25%) and he wins that. He also takes quality wins over the field. Even though he has fewer than others, his are in higher tiers. Not sure if they split this 20% (15/5) or not. If Foca wins Ivy then he gets the 15% for conference placement over McEnelly, which could be the difference, if it also influences the coaches' rank (10%). But if the coaches do not flip them he should keep the lead and be in the #3 slot due to a better RPI (10%).
  6. EIWA wound up getting a single allocation at 133 as Phipps slipped just a hair below the line. The line was 29-29-71%, Phipps was 27, 31, 70.3%. Now Crookham would have to win it all at EIWA. Does that impact the thinking? I would imagine, yes. On another note, Wrestlestat removed Crookham from their rankings this morning. When this has happened in the past (Teemer, for example) it is because one of their admins has designated him as medical (small red ambulance icon), but that did not happen this time.
  7. And the Unseeded Finalist over the same period
  8. I thought you might. Pretty artificial.
  9. In the all seed era (2019-2024) it is Starocci #9. Willie's list has the rest.
  10. Nelson Brands is 26. The age complaints get.....old
  11. Only to the Olympic year
  12. Just thought I would poke my head in and say.... Pinfall.
  13. Not to worry. Your mom would be proud of me. Donald Trump is my golden idol. Nothing bad ever happened with golden idols, right?
  14. I know he said he would end inflation on day one, but that can wait. No one cares. And he said he would end the war in Ukraine on day one. But people dying is such a minor thing. Finally Trump has gotten to the important stuff, the reason we elected him in the first place. That's right. Trump is going to pardon Pete Rose. Sing hallelujah from the upper deck. https://apnews.com/article/trump-pete-rose-pardon-sports-betting-fcc47b902e21c3a659618bb9fa20ce53 Thank God, Pete Rose's guilty plea to two counts of tax evasion will finally be forgiven, ending our long national nightmare. Or at least I think so. But then when Trump is on the crapper, cell phone in hand, Truth Social app open, no one can be sure what he means. Least of all himself. That is how stable genius works, my friends.
  15. Don't you worry, the bottom is being gotten to.
  16. A little more detail on World Liberty. 75% of the proceeds (after initial operating expenses) go to Donald Trump. Before Justin Sun came along they had only sold 7% of the tokens, which was not enough to trigger the 75% payout to Trump. Justin Sun's purchase of $30 million puts at least $15 million directly into Trump's pocket. Then the SEC drops charges against Sun. Many on this board will either see those two facts as not connected, or will imply it is justified because of theories about Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden.
  17. This one is different. Coinbase has long sought clarity from the SEC and a path to registration. But former SEC head, Gary Gensler, was very anti-crypto and never provided any clarity or a real way to do that. Coinbase has tried to be the anti-FTX, even going public so that US securities and disclosure laws apply to them.
  18. Trump will fight this with everything he has. He has now used three of these meme coins to enrich himself since the election. And his new SEC head just quashed an investigation of a crypto manipulator who bought one of Trump's meme coins in a naked attempt to achieve that exact outcome. With the most transactional president in the history of presidents, meme coins are the purest way to purchase Trump's favor. I would expect more of this, not less. If Zelensky wants to get all he desires from Trump the simple solution is to buy any and all unsold World Liberty, Trump, and Melanie meme coins. Then you will see Trump sing a very different tune. Hell, Zelensky may even want to start a new meme coin where the proceeds go to Trump.
  19. Run on all you like. It is always great to hear about greatness.
  20. I am either the greatest wrestler ever. Or the worst. The world will never know.
