  2. I actually have a problem with this only because I wish we as fans could leave our tribal college fandom hatred at the door when it comes to our national freestyle team. It's like jesus fellas, we're supposed to all be on the same team for this one
  3. I thought that was the general consensus. Mitchell crossed the line and Burroughs responded accordingly. It's us fans that turn it into some ethical moral dilemma. The match was not something out of the ordinary but because our forum is a tribal bunch we choose sides. A) Lots of wrestlers push "the line" of what's considered dirty B) Jordan Burroughs was also infamous for being one of those guys C) So are a lot of other elite guys D) We need something to talk about so lets make it bigger than it probably is to the guys who are actually competing
  4. But, how does Robert Durst and more importantly the CIA fit into all of this?
  5. What the heck do you do with Kilkeary?
  6. Whoa there Mr. Dake! We all know! Father time will not get you!

  8. Been saying it for years. You fellas are gonna have to live with the Blood of Christ for a few years
  9. Absolutely
  10. That's correct
  11. I'm sure Tom Ryan understands what Kyle did. You're not accusing him of turning his back on Hofstra by transferring to Iowa
  12. Back in the day there was this kid, Dan Gable, was an Iowa State stud. One day became a huge Iowa Hawkeye fan. It happens
  13. You can get Shane Sparks on the quad screen https://www.peacocktv.com/watch/playback/event/PCKSLE:2504790/3a38dc9a-9144-33b8-adbd-7c4a7fdc44ff
  14. Shane Sparks definitely lurks this forum because today the quad screen is up on Peacock
  15. Nice write up. Just wanted to add something missing ***Wrestling fans come in with their college teams sweatshirts on, hatred and bias against opponents from particular schools, and forget that this is a glorified wrestle off and we are all on the same team.
  16. Watched it in slow mo a few times. Really hard to tell but seem inadvertent. But, sure as hell seemed like Valencia knew he did it.
  17. If Philly is the armpit what does that make Pittsburgh? The butthole?
  18. The caution came in about 25 seconds. Doesn't change the match. Nolf was the agressor throughout the match and until about 30 or so seconds he engaged with Burroughs who would do nothing more that collar tie and push. Go rewatch the match.
  19. I watch a lot of wrestling and am very familiar with freestyle
  20. What wrestle87 posted is the correct take. People get passionate and see what they want to see based on who they want to win. Collar tie, push, & shove isn't going to get your opponent put on the clock
  21. Pushing on a collar tie and shoving isn't going to get you a passivity call.
  22. Not going to call it when one wrestler is just pushing off a collar tie. That blast double is gone. Age is a cruel mistress
