  1. Here's some numbers for you: using all the anecdotes you've laid out here, you still haven't reached the number of people victimized yesterday, in that one particular shooting in Texas, the literal gun capitol of the country.
  2. Truly unbelievable. Laughs claiming the "numbers ain't on [my] side" then provides a series of anecdotes and a Heritage Foundation link that includes, you guessed it, anecdotes.. Guess what, dipshit, the numbers are, in fact, on my side. You can tell that when you compare gun crimes here to gun crimes anywhere else in the developed world. When a mass shooting happens in another country, it's a tragedy that rocks the nation. In the USA, that's Tuesday.
  3. Any day now. https://www.cbsnews.com/texas/news/man-witnessed-allen-outlet-mall-shooting/
  4. I would agree that nobody could argue that Steveson is the GOAT based on numbers.
  5. GOAT is a subjective idea, unless you're going to do it purely by numbers, in which case there's no point in discussing anything; it's just math.
  6. I disagree with the assertion that he looked super slick. He looked off from the jump, he was just so far above his opponents level-wise it didn't matter. But there was no indication of any new injury, and if he was healthy enough to go out there for those first three matches, there is no indication he was any less healthy so as he could not wrestle against Suriano...and as mentioned, having your dad give the message...it was lame.
  7. Look. I was there. There's no denying that Spencer looked lame having his dad give an interview and pulling out before the Suriano match. I do believe he is hurt. But if you show up, and then forfeit before your first high level match, it looks terrible. Either don't go, or go and wrestle until you lose, and then forfeit out afterward like everybody else.
  8. Griffith to Michigan. @nhs67 is partying HARD next year as they're in prime position to finish second again.
  9. Re: Griffith, CP said on FRL that he was told Kennedy would drop to 157 if Griffith signed on. Truthfully, if Kennedy can healthily make that weight, he should go their anyway, it's a better weight for him.
  10. Seems like we have a lot of evidence on who Teske is at this point. Some promising flashes, but never developed and all the flashes were at 125 like 3 years ago.
  11. LOL. Come on now. Possibly? Sure. But likely?
  12. Please let layered trolljobs lie.
  13. Yes, there's never been a boring folkstyle match.
  14. Lol, fair. On the whole, there's more action.
  15. Attendance was way up, specifically for MFS. As has been stated many times, the reason the NCAA tournament (and only the NCAA tournament) significantly outdraws the US Open (as far as tournaments; several duals also outdraw) is because of the team affiliations. We are a tribal country, we respond to laundry more than individuals, typically. Anybody who has watched both arguing that folkstyle has MORE action than Freestyle is ridiculous. Somebody may prefer folkstyle, but to argue it has more action?
  16. Suriano looks like he's been training at Ohio State.
  17. Saw Wyatt Hendrickson in person today. Mother of God he looks like a suoerhero.
  18. I saw him, I can confirm at least he's much lighter than I've previously seen him. Bummed that he didn't compete.
  19. *they say they didn't take biggest NIL offer. Now, I wouldn't say it's improbable that the three biggest transfers on the market all went to the same school AND took a discount. It's certainly possible that Penn State's excellence got them a discount on the bag, but they do have reason to not be entirely truthful. But.even if they did take a discount, they still took a bag. And I don't think there's anything wrong with that! Nor do I fault them for going to Penn State, even though I think on the whole the poaching is bad for the sport. People matter more, so while I don't like either option (kids movements are restricted and the sport stays more viable vs. kids can move more freely and capitalistically and the sport suffers because smaller programs lose athletes/become feeder programs) I would side with the individual having the same rights as everybody and the ability to make money like everybody else.
  20. https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-features/fox-news-tucker-carlson-secret-dossier-oppo-file-1234723855/ Oh yes, let's get weird.
  21. Turns out, maybe Joseph Smith was right.
  22. Oh no, Minnow's credibility is in tatters now....
