Melton Powe committed to Little Rock (per Cyclone board)

anyone have insight on how much eligibility he has? think he's part of the "JUCO doesn't count" crowd, but did he take a redshirt at ISU?

I don't think the one year JUCO waiver applies to him since he was not exhausting his eligibility in 25-26.  2 years JUCO - 1 year did not attend in-between JUCO schools. Not sure if that will count against him or not. He was listed as a RSJR at Iowa State. That would mean 1 year left...but if the year out does not count then he would have 2. Not sure how that will play out.

Does Norman to OkSU spell trouble for Facundo? Or is there room for everyone at the inn? Facundo is coming up on his last last season if I’m not mistaken? And Norman has 2 but already burned his RS?

Norman could be going up to 184, speculation that Ryder may not wrestle next year because of his injury.

But I would say any starter at a program like Oklahoma St who didn't AA the previous season is always at a risk to be replaced in the lineup. The stakes and expectations are high at these programs, with the ease of bringing in competition via the transfer portal this is probably the new normal.

Everything I’ve heard has been Ryder sitting out

That is possible but I’m betting it’s Norman at 174 and Berge at 184.

Facundo 65 or odd man out (guessing odd man out)

Yeah that seems to be the speculation. Ryder is out with a medical, Norman, 174, Berge, 184, Dee and Facundo wrestle off for 165. I would favor (and hope) Dee as well.

Caden Smith who transferred from Virginia Tech to Sacred Heart last off-season - has now committed to the New College of Florida - making him the second D1 transfer to the school in their inaugural season (the other was Talon Maple from Campbell, who has one of the coolest overall names in all of wrestling)

Lorenzo Norman has psu in his top 3

I saw a video on YouTube the other day, with the geeky Penn State guy, whose name escapes me, and according to him Lorenzo Norman is going to either Penn State or Oklahoma State.

Norman committed to OK State yesterday.

Thumper late to the party per usual.... that's what happens when you block everyone but 3 people.

And some of those did AA are in danger as well. With Vega speculated to go 149, Swiderski could be odd man out. His options are 141 or beating Dee out for 165.
