I don't think so.   I have enough expertise to say you can tell a man's skeleton from 5000 years ago.   Heck they identified Lucy from further back than that.   No, asked why everyone was laughing at him afterall, he had a PhD and they didn't.   He was the expert and they weren't   He was wrong  on more than just the gender thing.   He misspoke a lot.

https://www.foxnews.com/media/audience-laughs-professor-telling-riley-gaines-difference-male-female-bone-structure

A video went viral of a confrontation during the Leadership Institute event when Gaines asked senior lecturer at the school’s anthropology department Gabby Yearwood, "If you were to dig up two humans one hundred years from now, both man and woman, could you tell the difference, strictly off of bones?"

"No!" the professor replied as the room erupted in laughter.

The professor then responded to the laughter with shock, wondering how he could be doubted when he was "the expert in the room."

"Have any of you been to anthropological sites? Have any of you studied biological anthropology? I’m just saying, I’ve got over 150 years of data, I’m just curious as to why I’m being laughed at," he said before later declaring, "I have a PhD!"

The different bone structure between male and female humans has been a mainstay of anthropological study and forensics.

He had a PhD and didn't know this basic thing from basic anatomy.   He not only made the mistake but fought to have it be accepted.   So he doubled down on it, knowing he was wrong and pulling the expert card and the PhD card.   That only works when no one knows the truth.   When everyone knew the truth, he just looked like more of a tool and a charlatan.

If he knew he was wrongg, he'd be very unlikely to make that proclamation. It was inevitable that he was gonna be corrected and embarrassed. Unlikely to be dumb enough to knowingly go down that road. Thats MUCH dumber than the incorrect answer itself.  Scientific community doesn't accept that stuff, unlike the winger trumptards who don't care what u say as long as it supports the winger agenda.

yeah, he was just a left wing tool that thought his credentials mattered more than the common knowlege known all around him.

As a result of his arrogance, everyone in the room laughed at him.   You would think he would figure it out right then and there and say, I got that wrong, assuming he is the magnanimous professor you wish him to be.   But he doubled down on his idiocy and was laughed at more.   But he was doing what he could to uphold the narrative that a man can become a woman and vice versa.   That is what he was/is a slave to.   Talk about an anti-scientific scientist.

He's not going to realize he's wrong simply because students mock him.

Then when will he?   He is an idiot.   Deserves to be defrocked.   Take away his PhD for idiocy.   You don't get any dumber than this.   A guy with a PhD that makes a mistake as you say, should be able to recognize it immediately.   He is a tool of the tranny left paradigm and goes down with it.

He had to look it up to realize it. Didn't have time to do that on the spot. Like I said, he's not a physical anthropologist so he was somewhat outside his area.

You can't fire a professor for making a mistaken answer in a debate.

This is pretty sad excusing the behavior of a professor when what he says everyone knows is wrong and definitely unscientific.

I'm sure he got some harsh words from his department chair and was very embarrassed later on.

That's pretty funny.

110% guaranteed. Fellow scientists hate it when scientists claim to know something when they don't. They lose respect every time that happens. Opposite of politicians.

Except for gender and climate "scientists" and their department heads.   They double down on what they don't know but love to proclaim.

Climate scientists are generally excellent. Manmade global warming is WAY beyond having been proven w 110% certainty.

Any true scientist knows there are no guarantees and any mathematical scientists know there is no such thing as 110% truth.  So what do we call these folks who claim to know something they don't and claim to be scientists when they aren't?

Ok. I was exaggerating. How about 99.9999% proven to be more accurate.

This I believe.   If this world were at 3 degrees ( I assume Kelvin), there would be no life anywhere.
