Bob must be steaming. Both of these guys got a big Nicolls Bag and now Petersen and Voinovich have displaced them apparently. Is this the biggest NIL flop in wrestling history? There is a larger point as well, and that is that any claim that Nagao has been a flop is an attempt on your part to ding Penn State coaches. But all they do is win, which makes your point silly. The Brands on the other hand are driving Iowa into the ground. I don't know why I even clue you in to this dynamic since I want the Brands to keep pounding those nails into the Iowa coffin, so continue on with your enthusiastic support of that regime.

NIL is for name, image and likeness, not performance. So as long as Nichols got Bailey and Williams to do meet & greets, sell t-shirts, and sign autographs during the season, he got every penny's worth.

They need to be official contracts with specific guidelines put in place or include performance base value. I am sure several aged wrestlers are sitting back saying I got my NIL, do I really want to continue this 2 month grind. iam also sure IOWA was not and won’t be the last school this happens at.

By definition NIL cannot be performance based. That's a violation of NCAA rules.
