The worst of many, Pontiac Fiero, first model year.  Bought used and abused.  Had to remove engine to change water pump.  By the time I got rid of it, I was pulling and pushing with both hands to change gears.   One of many poor decisions.  My first car choice was '71 Pinto or '69 Mustang.   I took the Pinto.

Oh the Fiero, always over heating.  Looked killer and they absolutely sucked eggs.

Bring Back the Chevette! Seriously. - The Daily Drive | Consumer ...My '84 Vette.  In 1991.  Nothing like your best friend screaminig out the window "Ladies wanna ride in our vette?"  I had to pull on the shoulder going up hills.

Problem is that Chevette probably had almost as much power as the Corvette. It had a dog of a 350 churning out 205 HP, 0-60 in 6.55 seconds

Not really the Chevette has about 65 hp. 0-60 in 8.7 seconds

I wish anyone would make a pickup truck.   Not these low mpg passenger cars with 4 foot beds.

I want the modern safety equipment like blind spot but don't need a rear seat and gimme an 8 foot bed so I can use it like a pickup is supposed to be used.

My 79 year old FIL regularly takes his neighbor's yard waste to the municipal dump because the neighbor is afraid of scratching the paint on his F250 with tree branches and/or the gravel road into the facility.

My second vehicle (still had the LeMans) a 79 F-150 4x4 full size bed.

I believe you.

My thoughts are ff the tailgate works correctly and doesn't have any dents, one didn't need to buy a pickup.

Are you saying there is something wrong with a glamour truck? Johny Hendricks would like a word.

There's nothing wrong with them, but is there anything right about them?

85k to 125k pick up truck is ridiculous unless you need it for work.

A pick up truck should make you money, not waste your money.

I own a Chevy 3500 and a Silverado 1500 fwiw.

I have a super duty that is not all banged up, but I pull an 8,000 lb trailer. I manage to keep it clean and like it that way.

Cant pull the trailer up and down Mountain roads with a hatchback.

What does this have to do with terrible cars?

You just don't understand Fly.  If you asked him he'd tell you Pinto is Fire!
