scorenomore Posted May 5 Posted May 5 1 hour ago, WrestlingRash said: that is correct. you can do that and maintain your dignity. at some point the kids will realize their parents cheated and made them cheaters too. gross world. shame on people who accept this as normal or smart. if the rules allow for it how is it cheating?

WrestlingRash Posted May 5 Posted May 5 12 hours ago, scorenomore said: if the rules allow for it how is it cheating? the rules haven't caught up to the age cheats yet as it's a relatively new phenomenon. there are MANY things that the rules don't specifically state that are cheating. What makes it extra douchey and cheesy in Bassett's case is that he won the US Open this year and would have been extremely competitive in NCAAs. He had no business being in high school.

Why didn’t Bo pull a Jax and reclassify mid year if that’s the case?

This has been happening for many many many years. It was happening semi-regularly when I was in middle and high school multiple decades ago. 1 If Bo Bassett doesn't ever do anymore than AA two times I will delete my whole ass account.....WrestlingRash sucks

This is confusing… does it mean they haven’t donated anything yet, but will match up to $1mm? Or they donated $1mm and will match another million? Or they donated $1mm and the matching by others is irrelevant?

Sounds like they are wanting other individuals to donate individually as able with enough combined to total a million dollar match so at least $2M total. 2 .

Nobody cares about his high school accomplishments. It's literally the least impressive thing about him. This issue may never die. If it does, it will transform into some other reason to hate him. Jax is 3 months younger than Bo and he got 1% of the hate for . He reclassified and it was unprecedented and he has been pardoned. Melvin is roughly 2 months younger than Bo at the time of high school graduation. Nobody says shit about him.

I'm not a fan of all the kids staying back a year or two, but there ARE rules about this practice and they aren't breaking the rules. Hence, they are not cheaters. Bassett gets the most hate, bc of his large social media presence and "Bo Bachelor" recruiting foolishness.

I think he is but the more time that goes by the more I think they got him back. I don't know why you'd leave that team given the way they are postured to have a fun year. "Half measures are a coward's form of insanity."

Why is that?

All kids who angle shoot the age limits are cheating. There is clearly a benefit to doing it and that is why they do it. Try telling a normal person, someone outside of wrestling, about this practice and see what they have to say. If you think its normal and okay, you are flying too close to the sun.

Besides them being good social media attention whoring, getting a school banned from the postseason for cheating, cheating by abusing age rules. sure, they are great. but you can be great and a douche at the same time. many such cases.

Bassett followed all NFHS and PIAA rules. Edited May 6 by Interviewed_at_Weehawken
