I want to see him wrestle this year for OSU.  That would add excitement like no other.  Plus, with how deep 133 is already.  Now, through in the best HS wrestler in the country.  Damn that would be fun.  DO IT!!!!!

My older sister (Nov bd) and older brother (June) were both 17 when graduated high school.  My younger brother (March) and myself (Jan) were 18.  My two sons (Jan & Nov) were 18 and daughter (July) 17 at HS graduation.

19 not normal.

All the boys in above were still growing thru So yr college.  Holdback would've been beneficial for athletics but detrimental academics.

HbSr or for some dHbSr.

Think of it this way: Forrest and Basset will both wrestle their first collegiate matches as 20 year olds if they do not reclassify.

Bassett will be 20 for the first day of classes Fall semester at Tech.

That is really old.

I watched them both in the Bishop McCort vs Central Cambria HS match (a 65-0 blowout).

To me, a recruited all-star team that includes 19 year old men pounding a local school into oblivion is not a good look.

These two should be in college.

Kind of like a RS or a GS without the paperwork....

Jamison and Keegan teched their opponents faster than their older brothers did. A freshman and sophomore pounding a local school into oblivion is not a good look.

Being facetious here MP

He wrote, "a freshman and a sophomore."

I'm only asking, should the frosh and soph not have hammered the local HS team into oblivion? Perhaps I'm missing something? Are they 19 and 20 yr old HS freshman and sophomores?

The younger brothers (who dominated their opponents faster than their 19-year-old brothers) are a freshman and sophomore, respectively. My point was that McCort is full of hammers of all ages and that poor local team was getting pounded into oblivion regardless.

Good. That was my point as well...

Should they not have beaten them...

The point is that at 19 years old, they should probably be in college, not in high school.

In my opinion, watching world class wrestlers who are adults whooping up on high schoolers lacks sportsmanship.

But, I am old school.  Maybe this is a newer thing that is now acceptable.  I just wish it weren't so.

No.

That is not the point Happyvalet and I were discussing. We were discussing a freshman and a sophomore in HS...

No clue. I swear I saw him coaching his little brother so its not like hes busy

I do not think he will be wrestling anymore for mccort, I do not think that that means its a done deal he is wrestling in March but I think his high school career is over.
