Not a boomer, plus I have Hulu.  ESPN is on Hulu.

You just don't know how to find it on your streaming provider.  How did you possibly watch NCAA?

Dolt.

Hulu only has ESPN+ on the standard subscription, which means you have Hulu + live TV. Totally different things, boomer. Unless you want to share your login with me, then I won't call you a boomer, I would call you The Dude.

NCAA was also on ESPN, which is available on other services such as Hulu, if you actually know how to switch channels.

What is your point here? NCAAs at no point change broadcast services during the event. Which is what people were complaining about here with national duels.

LOL "duels"

Lost some credibility there.

Even though we call them duals, perhaps duels is more appropriate.

Its purposeful. Ive made plenty of posts in this board arguing why i think its duel and not dual. But way to dodge the question. Stalling Weehawken.

I think it is and have made posts here before explaining why.

No. 4 Ohio State tops No. 3 Iowa 27-12 to claim team title at National Duals

Just because someone uses the word "National" doesn't mean it is a recognized "National" championship.

(reminds me that the self-proclaimed Ironman Triathlon World Championship in Hawaii is not recognized by any national Olympic Committee and really isn't a "World Championship")

But you are so wrong , it is is terrifying.

I know all about duels.

Wrestling is not the only sport to call competition between two teams a "dual."  I doubt any swimming fans are mistakenly saying "duel meet."

You know how you can tell if someone competes in triathlons? Don't worry, they will tell you.

You can't chastise someone for grammar and then post "it is is terrifying" my guy.

This is how we should determine the team championship, as opposed to it just being tacked on to the individual tournament where the focus is placed on the individual champs.  Plus, it's a team competition.

is there a new point of control for being in a head lock and stepping over and getting the leg in? I thought that was just for a whizzer? Just seems time ran out before any control half a second after leg in with headlock hands still locked. Possibly a stalemate?

Wrong. Changing our best event (NCAAs) and one of the best events in sport in order to satiate an annoying few would be a huge mistake. If you want Dual Championships, you are going to need to split the season into 2 seasons, like indoor and outdoor track. The NCAA won't go for any other option.

remember when you wrote "Congratulations to the 2025 NCAA Dual Champions...THE Ohio State Buckeyes'? I remember it because it was 1 page back in this thread. Like I told you, they aren't NCAA Dual Champions. You are wrong.

2025 National Duals Champions. THE Ohio State Buckeyes

I generally root for Iowa, and am an above average (high school) official.  I thought it was the right call when Caliendo was pretty much broken down in that position.

What is the strategy when the NCAA says "No" to two championships?

Here is an idea, keep trying and pushing for two championships.

Just because they said no last time doesn't mean you have to quit trying.  Women's wrestling wasn't recognize and now its a NCAA sanctioned sport.  Things do change.

If we all agree it would be great to have two championships (sans Cael), then we should work toward that goal.

For a sport that prides itself on resiliency and overcoming obstacles, we sure do throw our hands up a lot.

It changes nothing, nobody cares about the team title at the event, I've been there several times.  It gets locked up randomly in the middle of session 4 or 5 usually, often without the championship team even being involved.  It's got no juice.  This is an entertainment product, and we should be trying to give things prestige and meaning.

I didnt mistakenly say duel. And im not going to get into it right now but let just say dual is innacurate in more instances than it is an appropriate description. Also this is your second stall call. 1 point me.

That article rightly calls the event by the name the creators of the event used.  The NCAA, of course, doesn't call it the NCAA Dual Championship (or even the NCAA Duel Championship).  Pretty sure you understand that.
