Where?  It keeps sending me to Flo's new, updated system.

Full transparency, I hadn't seen picture/video of him against Yonger.  After seeing it, I see it.  Then add in that he was actually 265.

That's absolutely bonkers he's that heavy now, I'm guessing he's done at 97kg as well then.

I wonder if we see Attao drop down to 97 once Amos starts trying to make greco world teams again. Can't see Amos wanting to go back down until he's done with folkstyle.

Has Attao leaned out or something? That is a thick boy. I cannot see him at 97kg.

Maybe he just looks smaller to me because he's stockier. No clue what he actually weighs but he looks like he's around 240 or 250 to me. I feel like he has the build to make 97 and be just as effective as anyone else domestically to make a team without having to deal with the juggernauts of Schultz, Coon, and now potentially a giant Amos.

Attao couldn't make 97 if he removed three limbs right now. That guy is enormous. He would have to go on a serious Cassioppi-level multi-year transformation.

This might be the season of the Braxton Amos coming out party.  He out wrestled Bastida for most of their match and looks big and strong at the weight.  I’d imagine that having Cassioppi in the room is helping a lot.

Anywhere to watch it? I've been so busy, I've missed all the early season Wrestling.

If Braxton Amos wins a natty is it because he's a mid 197 overperforming in a weak 285 weight class, or because he's a 265 dancing bear proving why weight classes exist for a reason and NCAA should add a weight between 197 and 285?

I'd pick a good 197 over a good HWT 9 times out of 10. The 197s are nearly as strong as HWTs, and a whole lot faster and with better stuff, too. Remember that guy from PSU that beat Gable a couple times?

It was an upper classmen that was 232lbs (less than ten pounds lighter) against a true frosh Gable, who didn't have that grown man strength yet.  Gabe his soph season destroys him and it isn't even close.

I know Freestyle =/= Folkstyle, but they both wrestled Dom Bradley at the same Freestyle tournament towards the start of the following season.  Bradley was up two takedowns to zero w/ minimal effort before Cassar pulled out.  Gable beat Dom and then every time after that beat him easier.

The guy who weighed in day 3 at NCAAs over 35 pounds heavier than 197? Yeah, I remember.

Also, Amos currently weighs 33 pounds more than he did. You are missing the forest for the trees in my question.

Not just the guy from PSU, but Kyle Synder was nothing more than a bumped up 197 who won 3 NCAA titles at HWT. Granted, he packed on muscle and was more of a tweener than a 197.

I think it proves he was cutting way too much weight for 197 lbs.

Craig Henning got screwed in the 2007 NCAA Finals.
