A better question to raise is that now that Endene is gone, isn't it suspicious that all of the Black starters were forced to wrestle at the Soldier Salute while all of the White ones got to stay home?

Thank you for making it clear for everyone how much of a low life you really are

For pointing something out?

Simple questions:

How many black starters does Iowa have and how many wrestled at the Soldier Salute?

How many white starters does Iowa have and how many wrestled at the Soldier Salute?

Mo was still on the team, clown.

So what I have been told is that when he hurt his neck Tom wanted him to get a cortizone shot in his neck. He refused and said he doens't take meds like IB profin or tylenol or anything like that. T and T and the money guy behind their NIL's said they don't want to pay him if he isn't going to wrestle and demanded a one on one meeting, the day he had his baby. When he obviously did not show for said meeting he was removed from the team.

This is from an extremely reliable source but you're getting it second hand, so take it with a grain of salt.

Lets just say this is the closest to what actually happened I still find it hard to believe the final straw was missing the meeting on the day of his child's birth

Your guess is as good as mine.  Only two facts we have as of right now is he's off the team and he just had a baby.  The neck injury has been reported by a few and might be legit.

Kids. If true then poor guy didn't have a mentor. Two more months and you are done with wrestling. Take the money, play the game and do your best. Now if his injury was serious I doubt the trainers would have cleared him. If true this is on Endene.

Thank the Iowa fans for resorting to name calling instead of answering simple questions.

How many black starters does Iowa have and how many wrestled at the Soldier Salute?

How many white starters does Iowa have and how many wrestled at the Soldier Salute?

How many black starters does Iowa have and how many wrestled at the Soldier Salute?  3/2

Perhaps, but Rathbun is definitely someone with the experience to speak on this from a place of knowledge.  He is a former Hawkeye having wrestled for Brains for a season before transferring to Wartburg where he won a national title.  He was an assistant coach at Wartburg when Endene won a title there.

well then he should speak factually and not in vague petty terms with pretend laughter thrown in like a 16 year old girl.

Yeah. Sure. Tom Brands is racist. It must have cut him deep when he couldn't stop heaping praise on Buchanan last year. And I can only imagine how much psychic pain he suffered through all those times he talked about how great TJ Williams was. Oh, and last year when he and Terry spent most of the night with Gabe at the hospital during the soldier salute? That certainly is a classic, "throw off the scent" type of play.

You really are a miserable person to contrive something like this

For refusing cortizone shots and refusing to compete while injured? Refusing to possibly injure himself further? Then not showing up for the meeting ON THE DAY HIS CHILD WAS BORN?

Be for real...

Yes let's see if the other 4 of those 5 are true. I know he had the kid.

You could have given me one billion years to think about the soldier salute and I would never have had this thought cross my mind.

If a train leaves Chicago at 1 PM traveling 70 miles per hour heading east and a train leaves New York city heading west traveling 85 miles per hour, how long will it take for a chicken to cook in a toaster oven if you pre-heat the thing to 4:00 PM eastern time?

🤣😂🤣

Full of un-bias blasphemy.

Pyles posted a video (here) saying Endene was told on Monday that he wasn't on the team.  No additional detail, but that seems to rule out the idea it was Endene-initiated. (Unless it was retaliation for Endene sitting out in protest of not receiving promised NIL bucks, but I don't hear anyone saying that.)

This also is consistent with what TNWrestling's source said. I'm taking it with a grain of salt, but if it's true it was about Endene's injury management and failure to come back as soon as Iowa would prefer, that's a VERY bad look for Brands/Iowa. They already have faced criticism for throwing guys out there when they ought to be healing up (e.g. Spencer Lee), and they're already at risk of developing a rep for kicking guys off the team without thinking it through (e.g. Arnold) and for poor communication and misunderstandings in general (e.g. Bassett). If it's true that Endene's NIL benefactor had any influence over the timing of a return from injury, that's an even worse look.

Not saying Iowa/Brands are at fault for Endene or these other situations, but I have a hunch that when/if all the facts come out, it'll be apparent that Brands could have handled it better.

Stop it with the Lee narrative. Lee made the decision to come back when he did. The rest of the post is decent
