Edit: Specifically we would settle the debate for OSU once and for all. Oregon State would show up and displace another random team... let's say... Wyoming... and Iowa State would also show up and displace... let's say... LRA. Oregon State VS Ohio State, winner getting Oklahoma State. The only two duals we actually need. okokzach Posted 21 hours ago Author Posted 21 hours ago Officially: 4. OK State 3. Ohio State 2. Nebraska 1. Iowa 1
D3 for LU Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago A real tough row to hoe for LEHIGH... hopefully they'll fight thru in the consis (though, a loss in the 1st rnd, I believe they can only go as high as 5th.Those that lose in the semis get to go for 3rd/4th, yes?) D3 1 Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

MNRodent Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Which is the toughest quartile? Lower left is probably the most balanced.
Truzzcat Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago (edited) I'm sure it did not really register with me just how many incredible matches we get to see because of this event that we otherwise would not see until NCAA's. r1 alone Sinclair vs Ferrari Stanich vs Hardy Robideau vs Meyer??? Ruiz vs Facundo Mcneil vs larkin? Volke vs Ventresca Millard vs Miller Seidel vs Cannon? Mullen vs Hopke Greg d vs Spratley Young vs Cornella Swiderski vs Joy Mendoza vs Ayala/Bailey I'm sure I missed some.. god I love wrestling. My lean was bottom left because I think Northern iowa is a bit stronger that little rock and Wyoming and the other 3 teams are very good althought top right probably has 3 teams that could maybe sneak on the podium without too much stretch of the imagination which I would say is not true for a few of the others at least not right now. Mr. PeanutButter Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Iowa and VT on opposite sides, and that was random? Suuure. JK. I'm intrigued by the, very faint, possibility of Iowa vs UNI. Coaches corners should have some fireworks

Do you think those duals will be exciting, or do you think Penn State will just crush them?

nhs67 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Really curious what schools will field entire lineups that early. Cornell being down nearly half their starters is a bummer. Will Michigan and Iowa have their full line-ups? How many transfers are starting, total (first year)? How many of those need to wait until the 2nd Semester? Schools that could be without 'starters' to start the gate: Iowa - 125 Peterson, 141 Bailey, 157 Williams, 197 Endene Mizzou - 165 Mayfield, 197 Bates Illinois - 125 Moore, 149 Gioffre, 197 Lautt Little Rock - 149 Herman Northern Iowa - 149 Rathjen Cornell - 125 Diakomihalis, 133 Ungar, 141 Cornella, 149 Fernandez Oklahoma State - 133 Figueroa, 149 Swiderski, 174 Facundo, 184 Ryder NC State - 133 Redding, Brophy 197 Ohio State - 149 Stiles, 184 Fishback Virginia Tech - 157 Miller, 174 Desiante, 184 Bullock Minnesota - 125 Volk, 133 Cannon Wyoming - 125 Douglass, 133 Phelps, 285 Carroll Michigan - 125 Sotello, 149 McNeil, 285 Ghadiali Arizona State - 197 Hawkes, 285 Szuba Lehigh - ** Nebraska - 149 Lamer, 285 Ferrari Lehigh is the only one without a first year transfer in, FWIW. That said, until I see Crookham take the mat, I will always question it at an early season tournament. "I know actually nothing. It isn't even conjecture at this point." - me

They shouldn't ever bother doing anything to help the sport. They ARE the sport! I wish I could just comment on how great they are constantly! If you don't like this event, you are free to not comment. PSU is historically great, but we can still have fun without their involvement. Edited 8 hours ago by Interviewed_at_Weehawken 2 2
nhs67 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago The poetic justice is that Minny is seeded in the same quarter as tOSU, so there is that to look forward to. "I know actually nothing. It isn't even conjecture at this point." - me
nhs67 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Now: How do the brackets actually look for this? "I know actually nothing. It isn't even conjecture at this point." - me

Interviewed_at_Weehawken Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Did I miss something? How were the top four seeds determined and by whom? (And I realize that everyone else was drawn in). I seem to remember Willie saying that he was somewhat involved.

Anyway its still Awesome!! lower left quarter possibility Robinson /Spratley Edited 8 hours ago by Gene Mills Fan 1
