Cuts to the military??

Well, this should make RV, UB and others happy...or no??  The suspected reason for the meeting is that Hegseth is going to make like a 20% cut to the top leadership of the military.

Also pretty ironic that the administration that is so adamant on cutting costs and waste is going to have every officer from all around the world flown to VA to what could probably be just an email. Not to mention all our enemies know all of the brass will be at one time now

Have you not heard the expression that this meeting could have been an email? Sure let’s spend plenty of $$$ to transport these people just to fire them smart moves coming from guys who use signal to plan attacks

Yep. I used to hold on line meetings via Zoom and send meetings via email. The really important  ones were always in person.

Stalin's purges were good if you were on the right side of them.   Not so good if you were on the wrong side of them.  

Soviet Union - 10s of millions dead due to forced poverty, forced famine, straight up executions.  

China - Great leap - 15-55 million deaths  Cultural revolution 2 million deaths

Cambodia - 2 million deaths

Communism has been the cause of more death and misery than anything else save disease and pestilence.   That's definitely the direction we want to go especially since it hasn't been done right yet.   Perhaps not enough people were killed is what they mean by that.

The absolute worst thing America can do right now is cut military spending.  Just need to be smarter about how it gets spent.

Imo if doge didn’t fix it….. it never will be fixed.  Not because they are good/bad at it or what not…. Because no one else is going to try after this.   Both parties.

I've read lots on the Forced labor camps. The Soviet Union outlawed the death penalty then staffed the work camps with psychotic criminals released from prisons. They were extremely cruel and many died from abuse, starvation and straight up being murdered by guards. The pure evil that existed was astonishing. The death toll wasn't even the worst part of it. Most who were killed were lucky to not have to endure the cruelty. The system of oppression was literally the only system in the entire country that was actually efficient.
