How about wearing them as speedos or clothes? That's desecrating the flat as well.

Maybe just... no Laws on speech beyond what we have. The fire in a burning building, the fighting word laws and... threatening people.

Hate speech changes depending on who is in power and with all the ways the right desecrates the flag... 300 pound women with a flag bikini clinging for deer life, they're offensive, not illegal...and shouldn't be.

I thought this was going to be about Trump creating a ministry of truth. You know like Biden (Obama) wants.

Obama wore a tan suit though.

You can say anything you want; when you start doing something it may turn out to be vandalism, which is unlawful.

Burning the flag isn't vandalism. Unless it's not yours to burn.

Isn’t that the essence of the issue here? They will be looking at the circumstances around the flag burning.

Don't be dumb. This e.o. would apply specifically to the flag so it would be treated differently from burning other fabrics.

Read the full article in the OP and then OP can apologize for lying.

This would not criminalize the actual burning of the American flag, one administration official told NewsNation.

If someone is injured, for instance, as a result of a flag burning, then charges could be brought, one of the sources explained.

It even states in the very first sentence of the article..."ciminalize certain actions related to burning the American flag"

This is very much along the lines of libel, and yelling fire in a theatre.  Free speech is protected, harming others is not.

People need to stop falling for headlines.

Outlawing any actions that are specific to the flag but not non-u.s. flags is unconstitutional.

Oh really...and where are you coming up with that?

1st amendment. It's free speech if its my own fabric and i dont put somebody in danger ( smoke, flames, etc). Just like with any other fabric.
