Russian earthquake….interesting times

And 8.8 quake hit the coast of Russia last night, the strongest quake on the entire planet the last 15 years and in the top 10 over the last 125 years, and has US states on high alert for tsunami.  
 

Kinda of ironic, isn’t it???   Prayers for safety to all those in the warning areas.

Go ahead and look at some of the footage of starving kids in Gaza and then let me know what you think. It's absolutely sickening what's happening over there and that we're supporting it. Literally makes me want to vomit and yes, it's pure evil.

Our nation has likely been cursed and we will suffer the consequences. Unfortunately, the people that suffer the consequences aren't the ones responsible for what got us to that point in the first place. The powerful people like Trump commit atrocities and innocent people suffer for them. Just like in Gaza. I agree 100% that the people in HI and CA don't deserve this one bit.

THis  is a a perfect example of the wingers stupidity and lack of logic. Bring in very limited food into a starving area and the bad guys with guns will get it 100% of the time. Then they'll sell their surplus on the black market for a  high price. There's no way to prevent the bad guys from getting some of the food. 

However, if you bring in PLENTY of food, then the price goes down and regular people including innocent children will get some. 

It's very simple. Let the food come in and people won't starve. Limit the food supply and it's the children and other weaker people that will starve. Every time. I can't believe how dumb the wingers are to not understand this very simple concept.

Gaza’s basically done. Israel is about to fully take it over and start building settlements. The people of Gaza will probably be relocated to other areas.

MO -  Hamas attacks.   Hamas hides behind civilians during the expected retaliation.   Hamas spreads falsehoods about damage, deaths, injuries.   Hamas shows the starving people to gain sympathy for a ceasefire.   Hamas takes the food aid and keeps it for themselves.   Hamas proclaims that the Palestinians are not their problem, but the UN's problem to resolve. 

Hamas needs to go.

Yes; Hamas is bad. That's a straw man argument. Nobody is saying they aren't bad. That doesn't mean that Israel shouldn't take all practicable efforts to minimize the suffering of the civilian population there. Hamas has been defeated to the extent practicable. You'll never eliminate every single one of them.
