LA Mayor Karen Bass says city employees cannot clean all the destruction in downtown Los Angeles by themselves and that the public needs to chip in to “beautify” the city ahead of the World Cup.

Sounds like there are thousands of National Guard and Marines on site.

Since taxpayers are paying their salary, let's put them to work. Won't cost another penny. Right?

It's old school thought, but they might as make themselves useful if they are there.
