Burroughs @ OKST?

I watched a video on FLO w/ Darrion Lockett stating that he went w/ Jordon Burroughs before the trials @ the OK State RTC...??? Just wondering if there is any NEW connection here?!? OR am I behind (ahead) of the curve??!!

He seemed to be doing pretty well with his youth club in NJ.   But he did at one point express disappointment about “the sad state of youth wrestling and youth sports,” so I wouldn’t be shocked if Richison gave him an offer he couldn’t refuse to be involved with Cowboy RTC or something

He's right, but it's nothing new. I've been involved in youth sports as a competitor, coach, administrator for decades.

Some of the ‘adults’ involved in youth wrestling are embarrassing and horrible examples for the kids that they influence.  Coaches and parents.  It is such a shame.  

Wish more and more of the most respected wrestlers and leaders of the sport would call out the crap and even point out the most egregious schmucks as people kids should NOT look up to.

Burroughs said on FRL today that he is not yet retired from competing.

He also spoke very highly of the guys in Stillwater, and said that the Pennsylvania RTC “imploded” and “doesn’t exist anymore as he remembers.” He says if he competes again it will be under his All I See Is Gold Academy

When he said he was not retired I was pumped (sort of upset he did not wrestle 79kg this year) but then I was confused when he said "if i compete again" and not when.

Parents are the worst.  On a page I follow, a parent posted a pic of him and his son and the T-shirt he was wearing said "I'm not Haitian but I'll eat your kitty".  Seriously.  Who wears a shirt like that in public, let alone to a youth wresting tournament.
