Gee, I wonder if they saw the most recent video of him acting like a buffoon in the gym again. I was hoping for a positive change but a leopard doesnt change its spots. Neither will he.

Definitely not for the faint of heart.

Is Ferrari starting a new hairstyle trend?  The "double mullet".  Mullet front and rear.  The front is just poofed up.

For those unaware. UNC specifically UNC wrestling has had a very public past incident concerning sexual assault. A coach got fired (yes I'm aware the alleged incident took place away from UNC). Like it or not, that's gonna make scrutiny on the wrestling team higher and gives them less wiggle room.

I am well aware that it was 10 years ago as well. But anyone who's worked with admin shouldn't be shocked that this happened.

(I also won't be shocked if there's more behind them not taking AJ)

The one with the coach’s son?  IIRC didn’t that turn out to be a false allegation?

There was some dude on xtwitter that went on a rant (shared by Minnow) saying he thought AJ should sue UNC because they’re a public institution, which doesn’t make any sense.

But then he deleted his account.

The older Ferrari?

This is the only surprising item in this saga

$550k/year for a one-time champ that isn't the favorite next year and has no senior level accolades? That number seems rather absurd for anyone not playing football or basketball, maaaaaybe baseball because there are some psycho donors in that realm.

Yeah, but the deadlifts, baaaaaby.....

He could sue them absolutely.

It's a question of whether he is likely to prevail. The answer to that is no.

do we know his options at this point? Go back to bakersfield and those talentless losers he had to practice with? I assume they could release him if he asked?

He’d have to actually wrestle a freestyle match to do that

Separately, I wonder if TJ Stewart to UNC could be back on the table.  It was reported that an incompatibility with AJ was the only reason he didn't have them on his list in the first place

The answer to that is 'lol.'

As in AJ Ferrari filed a lolsuit and got lolled out of court.

I think Bakersfield is glad to be rid of him.

My guess is he goes the way of PD3.

I have my opinions. Knowing a lot more than most. But whether it was false in reality didn't reflect the verdict.. (unless something changed since 2016) and the old coaches "blog", made this particular issue something that UNC wrestling is going to have a bigger magnifying glass on it than other teams,

also, I'm not disparaging the old coach for trying to protect his son. Even if it it (imo) was misguided. It probably made the situation worse. Though since several have talked about innocent until proven guilty. TR Foley immediately assuming he was guilty and stating so on his lil mailbag.. is a big part of me realizing he was just a grandstander for virtue points.

All that aside. The main point remains. If AJ's "issue" had been something else or if it was same thing, different school. There may not have been the response from the school admin.. but from UNC.. this isn't shocking

PD3 wasn't 80% likely to make the finals, he was a lazy guy who didn't show up for practice and placed on his talent for big moves. They don't compare as wrestlers.

Oh yeah I forgot about the blog, that was kinda weird.

I mean Minnow does have a point by saying what doesn’t feel right is that the admin knew what the allegations were previously.   Again I don’t think AJ has any recourse, but it is kinda crappy if they told him he was good to go but then changed their mind.

Bakerfield or join his other brother and be Morgan states first AA or NC ,I’m sure Monday can bring some guys in to push AJ

He's academically horrid.  Reads at a 6th grade level and is basically a functional illiterate.

But you said he’s hot and has amazing hair and teeth so that will carry him far.

Hum I kinda doubt it. There aren't that many that can push Ferrari, especially if he's gonna stick with having no offense and winning on a RT point.
