It's being reported where? This article is just about him transferring to UNC and is dated from over a month ago.

The article is the likely catalyst bro, if the reports are true.  Doesn't matter that it was a month ago.  Gilman missed testing a year ago and that process is still ongoing.  Stuff takes time.

I'm not your bro, friend.

Not an AJ fan in the slightest. In fact, the opposite. I think he deserves every bit of bad karma he gets. That being said, UNC just had a basketball player arrested for sexual misconduct a month ago, they have a 70+ y/o Bill Belichick running the FB program while dating a 24ish year old, and who knows how many FB players have had legal issues. So to say AJ bring "too much baggage" seems hypocritical.

I mean did you read it? If you’re an admin with no wrestling knowledge, it’s a pretty eye opening read. There’s no middle ground coming out of that article lol

I did read it. And nowhere does it say admin was blocking him from entering. Being reported by Minnow is one thing, but it doesnt say in this one that he was blocked.

No clue if these “reports” are true, but the difference between AJ is that any revenue he brings in would be a blip compared to a basketball player.  And I’m not really a Belichick fan but I don’t think it’s fair to lump him in with sexual misconduct.  If anyone is being taken advantage of in that relationship it’s him.

OP jumped to a conclusion for sure. I was a little shocked to read it. But, not surprising that there was immediate pushback.

Somehow, Minnow is often right about the bad turns in AJs life.  He seems to have an open line to the family and generally takes the wrong side and White Knights for him.

Yeah, I actually believe it coming from him for once.  The attention craving comes to both naturally enough where I wouldn't be surprised if they were cousins...

Mineo is reporting that AJ's NIL got voided as part of it. He is close with the family I am sure he got this from that camp. That article may have been part of it, but it is not anything special. It is the basic facts about AJ (including his past legal case) and includes quotes from Pyles about him, as well as from someone speaking out against bringing him in. Considering it is the University Paper and was written by a student I hope AJ fanboys do not attack/blame the author.

The article almost certainly was brought to the attention of the administration.  It may not be new to us, but it was certainly new to them.

I'd say a greater than 50% chance Minnow tries to embarrass or dox the article's author.

You think the admin didn’t know about the charges when they brought him in?

Unless maybe the “alumnus’s partner” that was quoted is a big donor or something?

Oh I think it was, but also any google search of AJ will get you the double birds photo, and the rabbit hole from there is pretty easy to fall into.

Mineo already posted (then deleted) the article calling it a hit piece. He also seems to think someone quoted in the article is responsible for the article itself? Which idek what to do with

Koll knew the charges.  The University president, Director of Admissions, AD, etc. may not have.

And even if they did, they were sweeping the stuff under the rug, until people in the know started talking.

I think Mineo has more experience bullying college kids than whatever he actually does for a living.
