There are very easy to find quotes from the Trump administration on how this process of the Qatar plane began. Unfortunately for Mullin, the Trump administration differs from his story.

Generally speaking you are right here.   But when questions about Bidens mental fitness were advanced they were swatted down.  They never produced evidence of him being more active than anyone else.   It was taken at face value by media and Ds.  Only people on the right disagreed.  There was no attempt to back up the claim as you say they should have.  And nobody on the left pressed them for it.   So your thought here applies one way it would seem.

If it can be refuted why haven't any of the screaming banshees on the left responded?   Where are your geniuses Crockett or Booker or AOC saying it's a lie?    Who really gives rats ass if some news outlet says anything, journalistic integrity is no longer a thing.

It's not about "some news outlet." All news outlets confirmed the story, and so did the trump administration.  You compare that to a 10 second bit of an interview with no evidence offered as if they're the same thing.

No.  Firstly, I have no idea if he pushed back, the video stops immediately after he Markwayne makes the claim.  Secondly, you can't be immediately prepared to refute any claim anybody makes in an interview, especially of you have no idea if they're going to say it.  That's why it's on the person putting forward the claim to prove it, not any and all listeners to refute it.
