When you get roughed up trying to get into federal operation when you are told you are not welcome, that's on you. When you are walking down the street and out of nowhere someone attacks you that's an assault.

So the congress woman was just walking down the street minding her own business?  She actually looked ok for just being "assaulted."   

Have to assume the mayor wasn't on camera cause transported to the hospital after his "rough'n."
