That's a great story to tell yourself. Doesn't change the fact that they arrested the students.

Let's see if the get J6 style due process.  Solitary confinement.  Charging enhancements.  Deep dives into all of their social and familial contacts.  Swat style interactions for those who were outside the building but did not actually walk in.  If not VAK is going to be very upset.  Strawmen everywhere will be upset.

People who tolerate me on a daily basis . . . they are the real heroes.

The funny part of it is if those Jan 6 folks who did cause destruction to the capital building where illegals and/or on a work/school visa, I'd say deport them without charging them with anything and never let them return.  That to me would be their "due process".

They arrested a bunch of them before, and then reduced or dropped the charges and allowed the majority of them back in school.  I will reserve my accolades for when the final results are announced, until then, I’ll expect a repetition of the past.

This I was not aware of.   I was going to say lets see if the folks arrested are charged and tried.   If this is true, then not good.   They did $1 million in damage to the building.   They should be held accountable.   I was hoping for students arrested to be expelled and all those arrested to be charged.   But this is Seattle, that is not the likely outcome.

Seattle Times states that 21 students were suspended.  The suspended students have been banned from all college campuses.  I can't find where anyone has yet been charged with crimes.

Let me ask all those screaming "DUE PROCESS" (Vak, RV, UB, etc.)...if an illegal alien and/or work/school visa person from another country is caught breaking the law, school policy/code of conduct, etc., would you consider it "due process" if the DA decided to not press charges (or in the case of the school they were going to kick them out) because they would be deported anyway for said offense after discussion with ICE and/or the school and thus the person is deported??

It  is an illegal or visa alien's 1st amendment right to protest and take over buildings and trash them and cause economic damage.   That is the essence of free speech.

Or is there a difference to saying something and acting on something?

None of the things you listed mean they don't have due process. They all had court hearings and trials before being pardoned.

If you want to complain about police brutality and overreach, I'm right there with you.

No matter how many times you guys repeat it, the deported students are not being accused of taking over buildings or causing property damage.

You're trying to conflate two different groups of people because you know you have no argument based on the facts.

Are students being deported or just having their student visas revoked?

Where's your reference?

That is functionally the same thing. They are not allowed to attend school or work once their VISAs are revoked.

Damn that sucks.  Maybe less illegal protesting and more thankfulness and old school learning.   I mean it’s a school right?

Get this through your thick skull: They did not illegally protest. That's why this is a big deal. They aren't accused of doing anything illegal. The only thing they're being accused of is supporting Palestine, which is not illegal.

But but they didn't actually light the dumpsters on fire, they just pushed them over...and they didn't actually take over a building, they were just tagging along...
