Is there a case of an undefeated UFC fighter?   I am not aware of any.   UFC is tough and just about anyone can win on a given day.

Jon Jones if you accept the Dominick Reyes decision and former champ Khabib if you accept the Gleison Tibau decision.

3 years into his MMA career, Chandler won a belt.

3 years into his MMA career, Gaethje won a belt and successfully defended it.

3 years into his MMA career, Nickal lost to the only ranked fighter he's faced.

Big deal. I wear a belt every day. Nobody will even challenge me for my belt. Today my pants have a belt BUILT IN. Maybe Nickal has pants that fit perfectly and doesn't need a belt.

UFC does not produce undefeated folks.   Is there a case of an undefeated UFC fighter?   I am not aware of any.   UFC is tough and just about anyone can win on a given day.   The thing is, can Bo figure this out?  Can he adjust and improve.   He felt pain maybe for the first time and can he overcome that and come out stronger.   He has not been challenged much.   Hopefully he turns this into a win streak.

I think Bo has been properly labeled as a high level prospect.  That outcome can go both ways.  As for RDR I think he's properly rated. Outside the noise and spectacle of the last fight he was and still is considered a legit contender for the title.  He's up there in age so the window is small.

But RDR is only ranked #13 (or I guess #14).  Does that make him a “legit contender for the title”?

185 is deep.  I'd have him at #9 with a fight set up against Strickland.  Yes he's a title contender if the chips fall his way.  I don't think he can beat Imavov but can beat Driscus.

Jon Jones is not undefeated even if you accept the Reyes decision.

Yes he is.  I took mspart's statement as in a career.

Let’s use wrestling ncaa d1 terms.  How many people legitimately humiliated by the #14 wrestler at their weight after training at a high level for 5 years a legit title contender at NCAAs.  Humiliated = 15/16 old school take downs and free escapes in the first or second period.

I watched Bo's podcast and he walked back fighting multiple times this year said he will definitely fight one more time this year and then said he needs to get bigger and he will fight again when he feels the time is right. I think he really needs fight experience. He was obviously very uncomfortable in the fight and admitted he was not really able to redirect the way it was going. To me that's not something you can really get from sparring unless you are getting smoked all camp which is probably not good either. At the end of the day if he wants to be a champ this loss set him back likely 2 fights unless RDR goes on to win a belt which I don't think is going to happen. He will be 30 next January. Lets say he is 4 fights away from a title fight which is probably the minimum, he will be close to out of his prime before he even gets there at the current rate he is going.

He also has moved from telling his haters that he’ll pray for them, to telling them to suck his D

He was pretty graceful in the Ariel interview was hoping he would ride that wave. I hope he does well I would like to see him fight Andre Petroski next and then maybe someone like Brendan allen or abus magomedov. Petroski does what I think Bo should do very well to the level he competes. Bo is a much better wrestler than petroski was but petroski seems to have a better ability to implement it and has one or two go two submissions more often than not a darce. That path would put him at the bottom of the top 15.

Yes he is.  No one with any self respect counts his DQ to Matt Hamil as a loss

Bo needs to step away from the mic and figure out how he wants to go forward, but he gets attention from his mouth that he may not want to.   I don't think I have ever seen a guy take a loss than then do so much press.  It could be because I get more wrestling content but Bo is out doing more press than RDR, who actually won and should be getting the attention
