so tell me ...where is the money going?

WTF do you mean? They aren't actually getting any money. You're assuming that somebody else is on their behalf?

You can't make this stuff up. Unreal.

So they assumption here is that since somebody deleted information, then they must have been stealing money and funneling it to their pvt bank accounts. Is that it?

Did you read the transcript or watch the full YouTube clip ?     It’s only about 3 minutes.  Take notes.

OK. I saw the video. It actually doesn't reveal much. What I see is some guy claiming that money was funneled into a pvt account that was used as a slush fund. How much was actually used for illegal purposes? Is there an affidavit yet? If something illegal is really well documented, then there should have been arrest by now. But maybe there wasn't because this  administration always makes sure they cross all their t's and dot their i's before taking any action. Is that what you're saying?

Good news I found it.

Transcript to read:

and thanks to President Trump he's now
signed two executive orders to start to
reduce the number of agencies in the
government and the Institute of Peace
was one of them which is why our team
went in to try and understand what was
going on and that's when we found all
the craziness like the weapons in their
armory we found the payments to the
Taliban
okay
oh yeah try to hide the evidence right
so just a few hours after we got into
their headquarters we found that their
chief accountant had actually deleted
over a terabyte of accounting records
from several years
so you'd have to ask
the question well why would somebody do
that and the Doge team fortunately was
able to recover that data with the help
of a few great employees at the
Institute of Peace um and I think the
most troubling thing was they received
$55 million a year from Congress and any
money that went unspent instead of
returning that to Congress they would
sweep it into a private bank account
which had no congressional oversight and
that's what they would use to fund
things like events at their headquarters
and the private jets
and so I think it's
a great example because most most
Americans don't know what's going on at
a lot of these smaller agencies and this
is I think the most extreme case of some
of the um wasteful spend that we're
finding so the agencies are hiding money
from you they're sending it to the
Taliban they have loaded weapons in the
department buildings at the Institute of
Peace at the Institute of Peace yes
that's right so this is a cover up when
you guys roll in this one yes a cover up
yes it's a cover up
they did delete a vast amount of
financial information that's uh really a
definition of a cover up isn't that
illegal to delete evidence yes shred
documents it is it's it's certainly
illegal to delete accounting records
that the that Congress would certainly
want to know where the congressionally
appropriated funds are going from from
taxpayers when you catch them going
Hillary style on their
computers do you refer this to the
Department of Justice in this case we
did refer the evidence in the accounting
example to the FBI and DOJ um and we
were proud to do that um so yes we did

Thanks for sharing.  Yes if there’s actual fraud hopefully we see arrests.  Interesting that in the video they said this was the “most extreme example” they found, but that this particular agency was only getting $55 million annually from the government in total (not that that was even the amount of the fraud).  That seems like a good sign that there is actually not widespread fraud.  Thanks again for sharing.

I do see what that clip said they found is small.  But if true.  How is deleting this stuff not a crime ?   How is shredding docs ?   Why is politics so.    Meeehhhhhhh.  You know.  They just delete stuff.   I wonder what they’re (doge or other auditors) not getting to as these gov employees (if true) are so brazen it’s like they think they’re untouchable.     I want to see charges if this stuff is real.

Agree I want to see charges.  The DOGE guy said they were able to recover what was deleted, so it doesn’t sound like they should have lost that evidence.

Fair.  But there should be some consequences if they in fact deleted stuff.

as an IT person I’m dying to know what was deleted.  Not the data per se but from what platform.  Did they not think backups were lying around?   One guy made a comment…. Something like a friendly employee helped to restore the data.  How did that go down.   More IT curiosity here than anything else.    How much did the guy who did the deleting sweat while the restore was going on.

Because we have Big Balls on the case

Can you imagine being a 20 something whiz kid fighting with hardened old government employees ?   As external consultants that has to be tough.

I started my career in IT and the old dogs with the keys to the systems could barely communicate. One guy wore big orange headphones to drown out other humans.

Exactly.  Imagine some 20 year old Harvard kid trying to get stuff from people who don’t want to cooperate.

Just temporarily, to get the care. Pretty normal procedure. Probably on bond. He still has a court date.

I think he, she, it needs a lot more than gender care. Bombing business's and destroying property because you dislike someone's politics. Very fortunate for him he didn't kill someone.

Also, @Paul158 seems to think it’s been posted

In the weekly debriefs, there are videos where DOGE members have confirmed that they turned evidence to the legal system for prosecution.

We’re not being gaslit over this.

Everyone also wants the tariffs to have instant results. So unreasonable on both sides.

is it true that the difference between Democrats and Republicans is that Republicans are built for the trade-off of short-term pain for long-term results and the Democrats want that short term dopamine hit?

Cool, hopefully we see arrests and convictions if there’s evidence.

Not sure if DOGE had anything to do with this (it says the alleged fraud happened through April 2024 she may have been being investigated under the last admin too, it also says it was investigated by the State Department Office of Inspector General which IIRC they fired a bunch of), but here’s one that got caught - https://www.justice.gov/usao-dc/pr/former-state-department-budget-analyst-pleads-guilty-embezzling-more-650000

Lmao. Yah, I'm sure that's what many of them like to think.
