Portal closes May 2 I believe - getting down to the wire.

Surprised that he didn't hit the portal given Ono, but maybe this is the greatest testament to Cael.

Davis is an AA, coach brings in a world champ, Davis get busted for drinking and could probably use a fresh start.  Nope, coach has your back behind the scenes and Davis decides that even with money and the high probability of starting, he chooses to stay.  If that is how it plays out - I think this really becomes a feel good life changing story for Davis and Cael.

Good one! But no, Nick has room for more bar fighters at Grand View! "He's not as bad as Andrew" is how he pitches it to his administration lol

What a sorry lot those psu tekes must be, calling the cops on an unruly guest. They handled that differently where I went to school.

Everyone.   Well most everyone drinks in college.  No big deal.

almost no one have to be asked 3 times to leave a party for being a drunken what not.  Have the cops called on them.  Then argue with security.  Then run from the cops.   He didn’t just run.  He ran hard enough to have his hoodie torn ….   Hoodies don’t tear easily.   Then all the he couldn’t get off bottom jokes.   Blew a 0.225 which is what. 12 beers in?

the fact that he couldn't outrun the cops means all of his motor functions must have been completely out of wack.

Penn State frat parties have hired security?  Fancy

I wonder if we will get more of the story.  What kind of a hole do you have to be to get exited from a frat party.   3 times.  I mean it’s a house full of frat boys …. Which is like d bag central.

I went to school nearly 20 years ago at a small ass DIII school and I don’t recall ever seeing a frat party with security

half those frat guys are just trolling for 40 on 1 fights all night anyway...not sure what the point of security is.

my assumption: because fraternities are associated with the school the security is present on school orders. i doubt the fraternities are all hiring personal guards to keep the peace. probably just a way to keep drunkin' fools from running amuck.

It's a CYA thing mandated by the school/IFC and nationals for insurance and risk management purposes. We used to get around this by having pledges work the front door (and bartend) at parties; these days, chapters have to contract an outside firm from a list of approved vendors for all social events.

No one likes the rule, it's just something houses do to keep from getting sued or having their charter pulled. It's also why a lot of parties happen "off the books" now at satellite houses, or why some chapters go rogue and break from their nationals and IFC.

All that being said, it would've been a much more interesting story if the security didn't exist and we saw an 11 year old lookin kid like Braeden Davis take on the  entire Teke house. I'd throw him an NIL deal after that!

So is that basically saying the school is sanctioning parties with alcohol?
