Todd is no longer on staff, expecting that spot to get filled in the next couple of weeks.

I was not aware he was no longer around. Never made sense to me to have to bigger coaches and Maple alone in the lower weights.

Nothing.  He just talked about his injury (torn ACL), when it happened (sometime before collegiate duals, but was exacerbated at collegiate duals, what the rest of the season was like and how limited he was (tough and very), and talked about future plans to compete after he's fully recovered.  It will be in Missouri, at least according to the interview.  There was nothing "announced".

He also confirmed he is looking at 74kg in the future which was assumed but nice to confirm

He is staying in Columbia for the foreseeable future. He just has his house built in Columbia for he and his wife. By the interview I am guessing he is building more houses (maybe a real estate venture). Also, rumor is he is opening a Club (AWA South????) with Peyton Mocco. My Guess, he will continue to train at Mizzou RTC with Jacques and others.
No inside info just what I have heard.

I would say KOT would be huge in the room for guys like Rath, Bambinelli and Heiser to continue developing. Obviously others as well but those guys are in his weight range.

Did you see Askren launching AWA RTC? Not sure the reasoning behind this, but I do not care to get into that. Seems like it would only make sense for KOT to go back to Wisconsin and train there, assuming he is not done with his career.

Askren announced it a couple weeks ago. Basically he has had a desire to coach at a higher level in addition to the youth coaching he does, and WI didn't have an RTC, so he made one and has Evan Wick training there.

I don't expect KOT to leave Missouri any time soon. He's previously talked about the connections he has in the area and how that's important to him, and now he's doing some sort of housing development work. I think that's a big reason why he stayed at Mizzou all five years.
