Bakersfield is a self supported program that has to fundraise more than any other team to keep afloat. Yeah, I don't think there are many CSUB fans on the board, but it's a program that needs help from the fan base. Give day ends at 12:00 pm PT today.

Pretty good haul for a one day fundraiser for the program. There are a lot of wrestlers getting much more in NIL than what Bake raised today. Let's keep the little guys afloat. I encourage all of you who are alumni or fans of the small and mid tier programs to put your fundraisers out here on the board to help keep them in the mix.

Wouldn't you think AJ might chip in say $500k since he wouldnt have got his $1M NIL deal if it weren't for Bakersfield taking him in for a year?

Where are these numbers from?  This xtweet says they only raised $37K for the entire athletics program?

Those numbers @Idaho is quoting seem to be for all of Cal-Bakersfield and not just wrestling.

Yeah - It was a little confusing to what those numbers represented - but I believe you are correct. I will try to find out how much Wrestling earned and post it in here.

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

AJ, should kick in $100,000 of that $1 million he got from UNC

Where'd you get that idea?  🤔

That's a really good $/gift ratio. Did a big booster or two open their wallet?

I believe that is for the athletic department - I am trying to find out how much Wrestling actually raised.

Athletics has raised $37,017 from 749 gifts!

Wrestling had 84 donors. I did some math (they have a leaderboard that shows the percentages each team was behind the 1st) to calculate that they raised $3650 or 43.50/donor.
