Fletcher Posted April 2 Posted April 2 OK St. has a very good 184 in Brayden Thompson, who's paid his dues and waited his turn behind Plott. I'm sure Taylor and Ryder would love to get Ryder to OK St. to give a big F-U to Cael. But wouldn't that make Taylor just as bad as Cael? Recruiting over your own guys who've been paying their dues in the room is a bad look, but something Cael has shown he's not afraid to do. This could be Taylor's chance to show everyone that he's not like Cael. He's loyal to the guys on his team - could help with future recruiting pitches.

They committed to the university as far as I'm concerned. Thompson wrestled at 184 at two opens last December and faced two D1 opponents. One was a 6-2 decision over a backup from Air Force. I think he has potential, but there's not yet a reason to get one's hopes up

He went 12-11 at 174 as a freshman including 0-2 at NCAAs. That does not scream "starting spot locked" at a top 3 program in my opinion.
