University of Iowa Hawkeyes Crystal Chrome Car Emblem - I AmEricas Flags

Congratulations @CHROMEBIRD, winning by the smallest of margins over @flyingcement

Two of the best posters on these forums are now the two finest judges of talent.

And if you recall from the first post, CHROME took the second longest of shots. The sum of his ten wrestlers' seeds was 237, just one away from @GimJustafan's 238 high total. Let that be a lesson to all those who thought there was gold in the 17/18 hills.

Like wrestling, this stuff is hard. So, thank you to all who participated. There is always next year.

As for the Dark Horses who made this all possible, Northwestern's Trevor Chumbley shall rule them all. He didn't just put up the highest total, his total was more than the next two wrestlers combined.

Thank you so very much for putting this together. It put a different spin on the consolation brackets .

Old age and treachery will always overcome youth and exuberance.

McDanel scored 6 points. Van Dee scored 8 points. Donnell Washington scored 7.5. Are we missing placement points?

Thank you to my QA department headed up by @BruceyB for catching an error in scoring.

There will be sanctions and fines. Heads will roll, but Brucey is in line for a big promotion.

New final results. No change in the order.

Take the victory @CHROMEBIRD all that happened was the margin grew.

Oh shiii, good call @BruceyB! However, I raised my arm and ran off the mat before you could throw the challenge brick 😂

. The challenge brick was thrown in time. There is going to be a full review. We are also going to penalize you 3 points for running off the mat before the it was thoroughly investigated.

Thanks Wkn for pulling this together. Tbf, Trevor Chumbley did all the heavy lifting and carried my roster

How many people had Chumbley?  I know most of us got suckered into Teemer, I guess we should have known when the Iowa fan didn’t even take him

I almost forgot. I owe you this. A team of just #20 seeds would have scored 28 points. Good enough for a tie for fourth. Like investing, diversification is the answer.

And if you were wise enough to invest in this diversified portfolio of seeds, you would be sitting pretty on easy street at this point. You would be no richer, of course, but you would be prettier.
