CHROMEBIRD Posted March 14 Posted March 14 I like Ramos, but think he has a really rough half of the bracket just to make the finals

D3 for LU Posted March 15 Posted March 15 I'm a sentimental softy and a homer to boot... Sheldon Seymour for this B&W diehard! D3 1 Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.
D3 for LU Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Sheldon is a longshot, but that's my story and I'm sticking to it! "What?" "Now you seem so upset... " D3 1 Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Just to get to one of those two guys on the other side, Ramos would have to go through some possible combo of Renteria, Steevo, Sprat, Strick, Flynn, Ventresca... that's pretty rough.

I would take that over having to deal with either LL or Figs on my side of the bracket though.
flyingcement Posted March 16 Posted March 16 (edited) I printed out each weight class and filled them out by hand instinctively without thinking too hard about it. In 125, I had Ramos winning. Edited March 16 by flyingcement

BAC Posted March 16 Posted March 16 This is a little off topic but can someone tell me how on earth Figs lost? The kid was like 10-14. I never once heard the name in my life. The kid lost like 3 straight after that and Figs comes back for third. What the heck?
RawDog Posted March 17 Posted March 17 I don't think figs was trying very hard at first, the random kid snuck in a late takedown at the end of the second period. Figs was unable to retake the lead. Which is concerning as it appears he doesn't have a go to shot and can't generate offense if he has to.
