I didn't look at the allocations until now. They only got 1? The one could have been earned by someone or given by default. But I guess in that case (that I didn't consider earlier) it should go to the 2nd in the conference assuming that person would be the champ now.

And it gets tricky because the Pac4 Bracket would most likely have been different with another LR 174 in it (or no LR entry).

Craig Henning got screwed in the 2007 NCAA Finals.

How did his school compliance officer and the coaches not know this going into the year.

I knew that the "free' year was only the 2021 postseason year.  How did people who have careers in NCAA athletics not know this?

Minnow is really worked up about this.  He must know the Rider guy or something.   His first post is technically incorrect, as they did not need to be “freshmen” in 2021, they just had to be on the roster in 2021 and not used up 4 years of eligibility between 2022 and 2025

Everyone is hating on Thompson at 4 but I’m always gonna go to war for him. After the top 3 is just a cluster of guys and Kharchla/Norman had a chance for 4 and had awful weekends. Thompson beat Ruiz and Cassella. Ik he lost to Cramer twice early but he’s beaten him bad twice recently. They usually seem to reward guys wrestling better at the end of the season

Kharchla falls apart at the end of the season, at least from the limited data we have on it. Remember his FR year how he came out like gangbusters, looked like a championship candidate, but lost 4 matches over the final two tournaments and limped home to a 7th place finish at NCAAs? He got beat up over the course of the season and physically was barely holding it together at the end. Then he regressed over the next couple years while battling injuries.

To be perfectly honest, I'll be surprised if he makes AA next week, despite his skills.

Ot's the New Jersey aspect of it, w/ Rider being in New Jersey - my guess.

"I know actually nothing.  It isn't even conjecture at this point." - me
