Hepner maybe, Geog....

You think Geog will transfer? Last year in an interview he was talking about how he was beating Ryder and Shumate in the room….. granted that was a year ago and he is injured this year

Folks on the Hawkeye Report think R Elam will leave Mizzou to be their new 197 while Ludington RS next year. Sure hope they are wrong, Rocky is a true native son.

This would be the best thing to happen to Keuter. But if he really is coming back for an NCAA run, would Elam go somewhere that he has to make 197 again vs bumping up to become an instant favorite on a limited 285 schedule before going onto the 97kg senior circuit?

Anybody have that one free year that they can't use at their current institution (Ivy) or just someone who it makes sense to make a move?

For me, and I said this last year, I want to see Gilcher head somewhere else than Indiana.  I was hoping it would be Michigan this year, to wrestle with his brother, but I don't think he starts at Michigan if he heads there next year.  Also, not sure Dylan starts at Michigan next year, either.  Catrabone is a stud... like a mini-Rogotzke without the illegal slams.

Now, were Dylan to head to Indiana (which I am told that Indiana and Michigan were has final two), I could get to see them both give it a go.  I just don't know what weight the bigger Gilcher goes, because Lillard is holding down 165lbs (unless Lillard heads up/down).  What school would want/need their services?  A school like Buffalo (which has connections to Michigan via a former wrestler on their coaching staff - Freeman)?

Josh Saunders (Cornell) might be able to head elsewhere (North Carolina?) or Gregor Diakomihalis (to Virginia Tech)?

Maximus Hale of Penn might be looking to head elsewhere (Michigan needs a 184lber yeah?)?  Composito was in the same class as Hale, so he might need to head elsewhere.

Ventresca had one more season at VT after this year. If Diahomihalis is interested in 133, VT might be a good option

RU is desperately in need a 197 and heavyweight next season. I would expect them to be active in the portal at those two weights.

There have been some rumblings of a few others (not at those weights) but will be interesting to see what happens after the national tournament.

I would think Luchas Cochran is leaving Penn State, he was in the Senior Day photo. I think he’d have a decent shot at being a future AA

Major need for ASU. And maybe the Mormon population here helps that recruitment if he hits the portal.

this is not based on rumor or fact - just my own uneducated guesses:

I would think Arnold would go 174 next year and maybe Kennedy portals out. What makes you think Gabe might go?

I wonder if coming back closer to home and ASU or UVU would be near the top. He would have been a starter at a lot of schools this year, probably a little more under-the-radar because he wasn’t

Me too, it’s gonna get wild. Especially if Penn State is looking to add down low or up top if the right guy becomes available
