Will it have any impact on his recruitment? I assume not, but it sounds like dad could be a headache for Grey to deal with.

Iowa... that is the place.

Get AJ from Bakersfield & this kid & scare all the competition.

Sounds like he decided to jump in and join the fight. That's what cost him, nothing his dad did. He just decided to do that himself. If he had just left and not gotten involved, I doubt they do anything to him.

Come on, what son wouldn't jump in and help his father fight, even if his father started the fight?

Maybe you can criticize Iowa and who they recruit after they harbor a known pedophile for a few decades.   Just maybe.

I hear that WD has some of the worst fans in general. And SJV had won 10 of the previous 11 weights and so they were getting on SJV's case.

Heard some of the rumors.  What you said plus Knox Sr being described as a "passionate man".  Powder keg went off

I don’t mind the private schools being in the state tournament, but they should probably have separate districts/regions.

The private schools have a colossal advantage, I'd imagine. Blair actually recruits state champs from other states, and I know they aren't the only HS that recruits.

Do they not participate in a state tournament among the private schools? Would suck to wrestle for an elite team and not be able to compete in a state tournament.

Have mixed feelings on this.  In PA with the recent rise of McCourt and Faith Christian I at first agree but then think how many of those kids are actually wrestling outside of the District they are already from.  I'm sure there are more than just Jax Forrest but he is the only one I can think of that is a transplant.  Kasak at Bethlehem Catholic came from District 1 and (Bechai is District 11) but he would still be at the same regionals regardless

Definitely has it's marquee matches but generally there is a huge drop in talent when you get outside the top 3-4 guys at each weight.
