you're taking this really hard.

read thru the first couple pages of the thread. clearly some douchey comments. full of judgement. a few clearly with bias.

There was even an article titled "The Rise and Sudden Fall of Anthony Knox"

i mean, effin spare me the theatrics. bunch of dorks.

To be fair, you did also call a group of kids nerds and pretty much the entire group of people from the district “scumbags”

the kids basically admitted that they baited Anthony into reacting.

and as to 'the people from the district' - i'm saying that anyone (especially adults) that shout slurs and obscenities to high school kids, are whack jobs.

This is stupid.

I don't care who knows who personally, the dad is a douche bag for the way he acted. Those "baiting" or "taunting" or whatever they did are also douche bags.

If this truly has been happening for the four years of HS, then deciding to finally confront it during the state series of your kid's senior season, in the stands, in front of cameras is moronic. He deserved to be arrested for utter stupidity.

I don't buy that rationale from papa Knox, but it doesn't matter what I think. Little Knox also was stupid for rushing to defend his family's honor, but he's still a kid and kids make irrational decisions sometimes and don't consider the consequences - so do adults, to be fair.

But in the end, the judge let him wrestle, so call it a day, let the kid wrestle, win his fourth title and react how you want when they show him on the video board.

ANY other "Ivy League" Admissions dept. would deny admission to a 19 year old recruit that beat up a 16 year old at a HS wrestling tournament....Ivy League schools are very diffucult to gain entrance with the best students in USA  looking to have a spot...Then theres Cornell Wrestling that just backdoors elite wrestlers that have no reason to be at such a great academic institution...

It’s pretty difficult to get everything wrong in one post.  Kudos.

i don't think you have any reason to be on a great message board.

plead your case.

I think his attorney is Mike Grey's brother

Looks like he’s back - on his way to his 4th regional 7 finals after teching his opponent in the semis. My apologies if this was already mentioned- didn’t read previous posts.

to anyone who thinks that the great wrestlers aren't hated... jeered.. .cheered against

He worked by day  And toiled by night  He gave up play   And some delight.

Dry books he read,  New things to learn   And forged ahead   Success to earn.

He plodded on  With faith and pluck.  And when he won   They called it luck
