McCrone

Davino

Bouzakis

Mendez

Cannon

Gallgher

idk about 174

Rocco

Rogotzke/Geog

Feldman

Not a bad squad. Wouldn’t mind them throwing some money at Garrett Thompson from Ohio

I've read Kharchla (174) has another year of eligibility if he chooses to take it.

Lots of elite guys wrestle up multiple weights. I'd bet that he'll be at 70kg for U20 and Senior WTTs.

I realize that, but he is still young, and PSU doesn't shrink guys as much as some other schools do. Its all a guess anyways.

He'd have to petition for a medical for last season.

I’m sure he’d get it. He tore something in his knee right after CKLV

That would make it even better

most of the lineup projections for next year ive seen people think hes staying and going 41

Relative to who others will be losing after this season, I actually think OKST could be better next year. But that depends on what Coach Taylor wants to do with the elite incoming recruiting class. But their line-up could be something along the lines of..

125: Spratley

133: McComas/Sakamoto

141: Hughes

149: Jamison

157: Travis/Routledge

165: Lockett

174: TBD (transfer?)

184: Thompson

197: Merrill

285: Doucet

Mendez is a small 41 pounder. He would be at a massive disadvantage against the likes of SVN and Henson at 149.

FWIW, CP thinks Bouzakis goes down to 125 next year and stays. I have no idea if he has heard rumblings or not, but it seems like an odd take if he hasn't.

Hmmm? First I've heard that. Word is he goes 25(which is impossible imo) if he wants a spot or he joins his brother in PITT.

A lot will be revealed this weekend when Iowa and Oklahoma State clash in an epic dual.  As Senior level fanatics have to  call out @ionel and @VakAttack in the lack of promotion, smack talk, & title threads this board is waiting for.  This dual is going to be a classic.  Where's my man @Mr. PeanutButter with his picks all going Iowa's way.  Come on fellas.  This needs to be battled out on the forum this week

All I know is I've been to ~4 OSU duals in CHA and they always won.  First one was the best dual meet ever.  I was sitting in the midst of black wearing orange, it went back & forth all night and came down to coin flip at hwt.  Last one sitting on row 2, came down to a tie. We knew the criteria before hwt and were high tailing it up the 40 rows to get to the airport whilst 14k+ bums in black were trying to figure out what was going on.

I'm setting the O/U for stall calls on the MIB at 0.5 and I'll take the under.

That lineup would not be close to as good as this years OSU team.

I agree, but how awesome would it be to watch Bouzakis at 125?

Which was the first? I might have to see if I can find it.

I said relative to who other teams are losing.

PSU is losing Kerk, Starocci, and Bartlett

Iowa is losing Parco, Teemer, Buchanon

Go ahead and predict Iowa's line-up next season. I'll wait..

Some big names:

Guerrero almost stalled out (won NCAA that year), crowd goes crazy.  Ironside pins Kelly, everybody is on their feet unbearable noise level.  Schmidt come back and pins McGinnis in first, you could hear a pin drop save for that one guy wearing orange.  The coined rolled forever at HWT and you always knew the heavy who picked bottom would win in SD.

PS:  Pop prob didn't think it was BDE but it was.

I was just a lil' 8 year old at the time. That is an awesome dual though. Why did Pat Pop dq? Also, I didn't know that Schwab beat Guerrero in college. In my mind Schwab graduated in like 2006.

Pretty sure it was stalling.   Back in that day Iowa picked their ref, always had a stall caller for OSU and Iowa never got called.  The Guerrero calls were legit, he gassed out.

Not sure about replacing Parco and Teemer, but Rocky Elam is already in the works to replace Buchanan.

Devino at 33, Mendez at 49 and Cannon at 57 leaves a hole at 49. Do they go to the portal or does someone step up?

125: Spratley vs Figueroa

133: McComas/Sakamoto vs Ayala

141: Hughes vs Block

149: Jamison vs TBD

157: Travis/Routledge vs TBD

165: Lockett vs Caliendo

174: TBD vs Arnold

184:Thompson vs Ferrari

197: Merrill vs Elam

285: Doucet vs Kueter

Sounds like a pretty fire dual.

Do you have any insight to whether or not Cannon is actually a true 149, but couldn't beat D'Emilio?

There are sooooo many people who want that to be Ferrari.
