How in the world did the government spending get so far off the tracks? In less than a month Elon will and his 20 year olds will pry 1 trillion dollars out of the politicians cold dead hands. will

Stuff like this is why I feel Elon is being disingenuous.

As I’ve said earlier, I’m generally in favor of the types of cuts they’re doing as long as they’re done legally and are properly researched (which doesn’t always seem to be the case so far).

But we can’t pretend that this is going to be good for the economy in the short-term or that “it won’t effect you if you’re not a member of the parasite class.”   So every government employee or person whose job depended on a contract that got cancelled is “a member of the parasite class”?  I’m sure there have been many folks that voted for Trump that lost their jobs as a result of these cuts.  Yes, there is bloat in the government and we should cut it.  But a lot of jobs depend on it, and if we cut those jobs, the economy is going to be impacted especially in the short-term.

"Melting down"? Ha, my heart rate hasn't even increased a beat.

Sounds you are projecting what you've got going on. Maybe take a time out and relax for a bit.

Oh, I'm loving life! 1600+ more days of America becoming greater and greater.  The first 24 have been amazing!

Keep pretending you are cool as a cucumber.  Reality:

This is what a lot of people have been waiting for.   Trump is showing the way.   I was for DeSantis but I don't think he would have done this kind of housecleaning.   But whoever follows Trump, probably Vance, will need to continue this as this is a new day for Republicans.   I too want things done legally  but I don't see where that has been a problem so far.

Judge allowed the early retirement plan that Trump put out there.   I think most of these other things will be found to be legal and proper.

That's some dumbass logic right there. Trust the ultra wealthy because they're already wealthy. You think he got to $400B by not caring about more money or power?

Biden was a feeble old man moron. Don't care either way about the other 2. Elon does things for himself, not for the greater good, and that'll be clear. I'm sure you'll claim it's fake news when he's the first trillionaire, and that it had nothing to do with what's going on. "but but but.... he cut transgender studies by $25B...... he tweeted about it..."

And that  money went straight to the Elon gofundme  account right?

Let me let you in a little secret.   America voted against the transgender agenda.   This is right inline with those that voted in Trump.

Clinton foundation anyone?   Net worth of 70 million.  That’s crazy.

nothing to see here

USAID

Chelsea Clinton receives an annually-recurring funding from USAID, allocated by Obama for her Foundation, which provides afternoon meals to children in Africa, India, and Bangladesh.

How much makes it to Africa, India and Bangladesh.   If anything like her parents foundation, very little.   Hopefully not.

If the govt was running efficiently and we understood where it was being spent the debate would be about that.

That the debate is about uncovering where the money is spent, tells MOST of us  that this debate is really about corrupt spending, not policy
