Kid obviously works super hard, is extremely talented, and where he commits is deserving of a lot of headlines. Could shift the landscape of this sport as we know it.

I don’t blame him one bit for extending out the process and making headlines. Wish more kids did it, actually. Football and basketball do.

Whoops totally forgot about Forrest.   Also looks like the matches are in Altoona which is only about 45 minutes from PSU, so it could be a sign for Bassett but it’s not like they’re going too far out of their way

Backwards take. These schools are getting excellent exposure throughout the process, and in many cases, are probably getting a crash course in how best to recruit and keep talent in the emerging landscape of college wrestling. He’s doing them a favor, not the reverse.

This match will be in Johnstown, the rest of the state tournament will be in Altoona this weekend.

 

edit: Saturday they will likely wrestle FCA in the state finals which is essnetially the team dual national finals 1 and 2 in the nation should be a must watch.
