Massive beatdown.

Kasak big brothered the #1 guy in the country, holding him up like a sack of potatoes in the final seconds to pump his fist.

I wonder if he's in the running for the championship this year now? (sarc)

In the other tie breaker Arnold wrestles no weight. Sigh.

Got at all the matches correct and came in at 28-6 (7) if you got my 133 change in time.  Think I got this one

Hand clap. You should get your own emoji, like a porta-john.

dog whistle on your own time.

Let's just say this - your attempt to play a race card is directed at the wrong guy.

You seem to be in an overly emotional state - let's take this up again tomorrow if you're still fired up.

Gotta say this. Ferrari will be loads of trouble. Hard to score on.

Starrochi is fortunate Ferrari is a true freshman. If Ferrari was a sophomore with a year under his belt, he has a really good chance of beating him.

He's the wrestler we didn't think we wanted to watch - who we won't want to miss the rest of the season.

Seems there's one every year.

Given your history its probably at the right guy.

I don't know Starocci is one of those guys that knows how much he needs to do to win. I didn't think that the match as close as it was, was ever in doubt.

Angelo was within reach the entire time That stall call was bs as well.

I want to complain about the Starocci ankle ride.  But the “let the guy stand up then double him out of bounds” from Angelo’s brother is probably worse

No doubt he was right there. I just never thought he would convert.

is Carter Hollywood the first 4x champ to get scared of a true freshman?

He’s the first 4x champ to wrestle a true freshman while being a 4x champ at the time

Nah Starocci is a dick he's going to run up the score for the dual despite Ferrari's defense. Tourney time will be around that score though.

Carter didn’t even get a takedown.

I actually liked how Iowa competed, even while being outgunned.  I could see the Iowa guy finding ways to win 133, 149 (even though i think stylistically it's unlikely to actually happen) 157, 184, and 197.  Iowa no shot at 125, 141, or 165 (which is crazy since they have the second best guy).  174 was technically close, but no shot, IMO.

Right now the talent gap is too wide, the next two recruiting classes are key if Iowa is going to make this competitive in the near future.

EDIT: I'm not saying they would win those 5 matches, obviously.

You guys need to stop with this Parco thing.  It's just a bad matchup up for him.  And not that Carter was impressive tonight but Angelo at no point showed any signs he can score on Starocci

So - tomorrow. When you've calmed down. Let's discuss more about how you feel about my 'history' and whatever else you have on your mind.

We're all here for the discussion. Literally nothing else to do. So let's make the most of it.
