Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

That was the most boring major decision I've watched this year

I was in the bathroom when the intermission ended, and came out with 5 seconds left in the first. My first thought was "at least I didn't have to watch another 0-0 first from Cam Amine."

It's not based on much.  I like the team and staff that UNI has - they seem to keep developing guys.  Hard working, overachieving type team.  For Realbuto,  that Young loss was his worst of the year.  He has a couple of decent wins (pinning Vasquez probably his best so far this year), with closes losses to All Americans Lovett, McNeil, and Abas.

No worries about the bet.

Good thing we didn't bet! I think Young was majorly screwed by the ref, but it counts the same regardless.

UNI is a quality program. I definitely root for them against any anyone else

c'mon man, y'all ride Cam for not getting bonus enough and then he majors a tough opponent in Thompsen and you say it's still boring 😭. He's got bonus points in 40% of his wins, a career high

He didn't pursue a bonus, he really fell into one when Thompsen was recklessly pursuing him because he needed a takedown. Good for Cam, but he still chooses to stare at his opponent for the first 3 minutes of nearly every match. He was boring at Michigan, and he's boring at Oklahoma State. I'll root for him in March because I want to see the pokes do well, but it doesn't change how I feel about watching him wrestle.

Bet Cam has a big poster of Varner on his wall at home. "How to sleep on the mat while winning".

I find myself increasingly rooting for UNI.  Hard working, overlooked, underrated, gritty, etc.

Super gritty, super fun to watch! What a great dual. UNI really needed Downey to pull out that win. I think if he wins that match with all the momentum they had going they would have found a way to win that dual.

OKST had already (IMO unwisely) used their brick.

Then this is not the first time they have unwisely thrown their brick too early.  Reminds me of IaW.

Shirley @Wrestleknownothing has a table chart series on wasted bricks maybe correlated with age/experience of thrower?  I worry when I see Gilman reaching for the brick.

They used up their brick in the Spratley match I think. I rewatched the dual last night.

That’s funny, I watched it last night and they threw the brick in the Fish/Downey match, in the one I watched.

I bet NIU threw that one.
